What would be a bigger discovery? Ghosts or Aliens?

meh. possibly. but its so widely accepted as a possibility though, people are more than certain that were not alone/
ghost however are somewhat 'out there', and dont have gov. programs looking for them.

Aliens would definately be a bigger discovery because then we will know that there is life all over and the technology is just way surpassed ours in the other worlds so if we could discover them and make peace, we could develop our world in a way faster pace when it comes to technology with their help.
With ghosts, we would just find out that after death there is still somewhere to go or just wander the world aimlessly scaring people. Wouldn't really help anyone.

you know even if we found plants... trees.... forests on another planet it still would be a world changing discovery >_<

no. itd be ghosts. a possible 'life after death', which is now a bigger question instead of 'are we alone' when were most certain that were not in our universe. ET life would be hug, but ghosts would be bigger as it would fly in the face of so many things, especially science.

I agree with Mulder (for a change hahaha), proof that we endure after death would be philosophically earth-shattering and would make sense do a pretty massive about-face in terms of what is possible! But saying that I think proof of alien life will come first.

no ones talking about helping people (although proof of life after death could do that). were just talking about the discovery of life after death. it would be a bigger deal than ET life. and living on after, as tinieblas said, would probably be philosophically earth shattering.

Well throw something in any direction.
If we were on a shpere, it'd fly off the sphere eventually. BUT if we're on some sort of disc on a turtle's back then it'll keep going until it hits the ground because it's always flat.
