I think there are by far worse people than Irwin but I did not enjoy his shows. However unlike with some other people who just seem to do it for the attention, you did get the impression he cared and he thought this was the best way to pass the message on to as many people as possible. I didn't agree with his approach but I did have some respect for him for trying to make a difference. Still, not a fan.

LOL oh yes I did hehe I will say his methods do leave a lasting impression however far he crossed the line and that was always. He provided entertainment and got a lot of people interested in wildlife conservation. I can't stand that the Sea Shepard named there flag ship after him. Steve was a loon no doubt about that but not Sea Shepard loony.

The bottom line is: Wild animals are unpredictable no matter how domesticated you may think they are. They can kill you in a 10 second fit. The worst part is that once one Lion attacks this guy, the others will join in as instinct overcomes them.
