Ok, that looks kind of stupid. I think that guy is going to last about as long as the bear guy in Alaska who was eaten by one of his bear buddies.

I dunno. Lions are a lot more predictable than bears. His problem will be keeping their trust, because it will be very difficult for a human to act like a lion for very long. Eventually he'll wander into a play-fight that gets too rough, but he won't be able to get out because the lions (like any cat) will strengthen the attack, which could potentially kill him. If he plays along, it's still likely that they could kill him if the play is too rough on him. He is, after all, just a fragile person. A lion won't be very willing to let go of him if he wants to quit playing, it's a sign of weakness. He'll have to show the lions he can tolerate their play. That's my major concern.

It's very dangerous, but personally I think he knows what he's doing. Not that I endorse him, of course.

Man is thick and will lead to lions being far more dangerous to people.

He is being a self-indulgent (insert euphemism here) and putting others lives at risk because it.

Tanzania, for example, has hundreds of lion related deaths each year, those numbers would be higher if lions weren't cautious around people. The actions of this man are inexcusable.

Actually annoyed naturalists and destroyed his scientific reputation would be more accurate. He now can't even get worthwhile behavioural data.

Of the many things cats are, predictable is certainly not one of them.

The reason they are dangerous is because they are cautious around people.

No, that is complete and utter nonsense, them being cautious around people makes them less dangerous than if they are not cautious. This is well established across the board, animals acclimated to humans are far more dangerous than those who are cautious and avoid humans. It is not only well established biology, it is basic common sense.
They don't attack humans out of fear, they attack because you are food.

Reckless, dangerous, unscientific.
Elsa's cubs (Born Free) and the animals trained to portray them, are the best example of what happens to habituated lions, they attack and may kill people.

You really have to wonder about the Sanity of People that Sleep with Full grown Primates in their own Beds and that have these Whimsical false securities, coming up and Hugging wild and caged animals that can destroy them in one Wild Animalistic Instant, a sudden change in temper or Mood, Christ, what if a person is sleeping in the Same Bed and that full grown Primate Experiences Night Terrors and wakes up thrashing, Biting and clawing away. I have seen imbeciles, do things with poisonous Snakes, one Dude Keeping Rattle snakes as pets, yah that what I said, Oh but it gets really crazy here, he took its young and baby Rattle snake and playing with it while lying upon his Back, Baby Poisonous Rattler in ungloved hands, and he starts kissing the snake, then the Einstein opens his Mouth up and wiggles his Tongue at the baby rattle snake lurring it inside of his open Mouth, so the Baby Rattler with Fangs extracted strikes the Idiots/Eistein's country fools Tongue injecting him with a huge amount of Poisonous venom while it is clamping down and won’t let go, the dudes face swells so fat he chokes upon his swollen tongue and rescues save his sorry Butt. And I am really Thinking that Idiot is still keeping Pet Rattle Snakes to this Day.
