Are there any famous inmates in insane asylum... i guess im trying to just read interesting stories on inmates if anyone can maybe help me find a good link....

also, wouldnt it be crazy if the people in mental hospitals really do see things, and we think there crazy and just lock um up.. lol weve seen it on movies all the time.

I no who ed gein is.. but im just asking like inmates who are in mental hospitals, i dont want crime bosses, i no about the famous inmates at Alcatraz, but im more focused on trying to read interesting stories on random patients in mental hospitals.

Well, doctors very rarely (at least in most countries) lock up someone who only has hallucinations. It takes more than that for doctors to lock someone up. You can also tell if someone is having hallucinations and not seeing something real, if the person claims to see Satan, and Satan gives him orders to kill his entire family, and he thinks that the whole world is against him, and he keeps twitching and drooling and he sees dead people with clown suits singing "Hallelujah" while disco-dancing. Yes, I'm exaggerating, but you get my point. :lol:

P.S. I know it doesn't really answer your question but I had to comment on your last sentence. :P

short of studying the topic to enter the field......it will almost be impossible to get documentation to study......i assume you have tried wiki??????

But then if you get the information, which I doubt you will other than some show like on the Biography channel or the like, would you trust the source? I know I wouldn't.
