Plus, the definition of a god is a cultural one not a purely belief based one. It is not dogmatic to say that a god(any god) will have god like powers. That is simply a culturally accepted definition of what constitutes a god.
Just as a human has commonly accepted parameters which define what constitutes humanity, so does a god.

If it can transmute matter, create and manipulate matter and energy, dematerialise and rematerialise matter, accurately predict and alter individual human futures speak mind to mind to humans etc.; then in present human terms it has the powers of a god, and thus by definition IS a god.

If it also happens to be an intelligent alien entity, with form, function, and purpose as yet unknowable to us, it can still be (by definition) a god.
A god is a definition and a symbolic construction /connection conferred by human sapience on both imaginary and real beings with certain attributes. Calling god a god is as accurate as calling a camel a camel. It would be misleading to call it a horse.

It can be misleading (even though true) to call god an alien entity. God, as a term, has more specific references than alien. My alien entity acts like a god, so I call it god . That seems both logical and prudent to me.

Then by all means, bow to an alien.

Man is to not be lead by men but by some alien.

How quaint, all species are lead by their own except for man.

Oh well. We are now second class citizens of the universe.
Give them the earth if you will.

Now you are getting it. And you dont have any choice. What is, is. You dont have to bow down of course, but to deny reality is to try and fly off a building or walk through a wall. A painful learning experience in reality, at best.

We are not second class.(Was the prodigal son or lost sheep treated as second class?) But we are missing out on both a connection to the universe and also becoming our full potential, in denying all our reality.

This question was born from my hearing the story of a man with 17 children of whom 6 were not as normal, so to speak, as the rest. No twins. This family is poor and arguably has no quality of life.


Most Gods favor a reproducing group of adherents.
Without adherents, there relevance would be lost to history.

From Adam on down, we have not let God down, we have reproduced.

Be they Eastern or Western religions, are religions and believers responsible for our dismal control of reproduction?

Are believers culpable for our overpopulation?
