Morena Baccarin
Unless it sucks. I shall pass judgement tomorrow. I really do hope this one works out, there's nothing worth watching anymore, all I tune in to now is How I Met Your Mother. Heroes turned out to break my heart this season.
Do your work, then step back. The only path to serenity.

Maybe it's based off David (Reptilian Shapeshifter) Icke's books?
As they permanently leave the fourth dimension,(no longer hold their fourth dimensional lizard form) entering the third (ours)...With royals/politicians/religious leaders around the world transforming & shapeshifting in front of our eyes all captured by CNN NBC ABC CBS CBC and WTF headline news flashes around the globe, hellbent on enslaving us all. As the streets and masses go into total & complete anarchy & chaos...

You seriously think leaders around the world transforming & shape shifting or your talking about the show ? I haven't seen any shape shifting going on.

I don't watch broadcast or cable TV (I see no reason to willingly accept commercials or pay for TV) and watch everything either from netflix or Hulu. So I probably won't be tuning in to it when it's broadcast.
That said, I made a mental note to toss it on my netflix queue when it hits DVD's - I remember watching the original and really liking it (Robert Englund in his pre-Freddy days was still playing weird characters).

Despite my nature to not trust, and the fact I figued they were evil right away, I'd still have to follow them. Morena is stunning. I believe the boys said it best when they giggled "She's hot!"

I really liked it too, and they stayed closer to 80s mini series then I had expected.

I particularly liked the scene in the church where the statue of Jesus fell to the floor. It kind of showed the imagery of religion as we know it falling by the way side. As this is one aspect of the alien topic that gets discussed in many posts elsewhere.
For the most part seems to keep with the 80's version with some very nice new "views" of people dealing with it.
The resistance scene was pretty good. It showed that THEY MAY BE AMONG US already.
Also liked how they put some of these most recent views or beliefs in the mix. (reptilian aliens, already here, religious views, waiting for the world to be in total dismay before showing themselves....etc).
Also shows what would most likely happen if they were really here. Needing something at human cost, kill them, then move on. I really dont think they would be here for a cup of tea and chit-chat.
So far so good. Cant wait until next week.

Agreed. I liked it very much, and was pleasantly surprised how well it stuck to the original story line, albeit a quicker one.
I also like how they integrated terrorist plots into the scheme of things.
Overall, I think so far it is an updated version of the original, while not twisting it into something outragiously different.
I even like how they updated the name of the leader from Dianna to just Anna.
