Christians, can you clear a few things up? A few things I'm wondering.

Right, first question: why is the Bible so historically inaccurate? I'm sure the historical innacuracies have been pointed out to you. In case they haven't; tell me, I'll dredge some up for you.
Wouldn't a perfect God make no mistakes in his record keeping? Especially considering that some of the records were not supposed to be documentable except through God
Second question:
Hundreds of bible prophecies have failed to come true, why?
The bible is ripe with prophecies that never got fullfilled.
Again, I'll get some for you, if you want.
Final question:
What's with the bibles' constant obsesion with animals that never existed?
The bible like unicorns, even says God was stronger than one.
And dragons...
Please, answer these questions for me.
LOL, study up on your own my friend. Your question is silly, just study a bit and find out the mind set of those who wrote in the ancient world.
Peace
Mark

Could it be he or she has a busy life style and doesnt have as much free time on here?
Or could it be they joined up and made 2 single posts and lost interest?
If you wish to carry on...why not make your own thread or stick up a challenge to anyone that wishes to discuss these holes?
Seems to me pixie cant get back due to being busy........or lost interest

How on earth would a bible claim to be historica? when it was written at the time...I doubt that went through their minds LOL
People that FOLLOW it and believe it to be god true word....will believe it is an historical record <-----------I cant see this...to make it historical..you need solid evidence to back up each event.

What proof do you have that it isnt real? I'm not saying it is but at the very least, christians have a historical book where their faith is based on which is a hell of a lot more than any Athiest. Athiests dismiss theologians and any other human who believes in spirituality (and im not saying thats you) based on things like the parsimony principles, an ad hoc principle i might add. A theory they quite happily contradict by claiming the speed of light travels at 186,000 miles per second isnt really correct as we have no idea what speed it travels at past the horizons however they have FAITH that it does which is the exact thing they ridicule religion for. The faith required to keep a skeptical opinion is usually quite predjudice as metaphysics is not considered to be anything other than hum drum, therefore scientists refuse to consider any evidence pertaining to it. Metaphysics has far more more compelling evidence than life on other planets yet look atwhat we dedicate to that, listen to the excuses of scientists for not discovering it so far? Take a non partisan view and you'll see that science truncates their reality when it suits them.
Scientists argue God is a manifestation of our primal desires to want a being with supernatural powers to protect us from the harshness of nature however if that was the case, why do we have hell? What is that a manifestation off, if we live in a deluded reality for needs of compassion, it seems fair that no way would he reasoning given explain hell? Science explains how, it doesn't explain why.

Lack of scientific evidence? ya think?
The bible incase it has escaped your notice is just a book of FAITH....it is known as a book of FAITH...most christians will say - not to be taken literally
If the bible had serious real solid proof/evidence to back up each event..........then and only then it will be a book of FACTS and be seen historical
for now.its got nothning to show these events took place andthe people exiated IE Jesus..Moses etc etc etc....nothing
So now what? ---> FAITH.....thats it
I dont believe in the bible and wont ever believe in it

Scholarly?
The bible states that the earth was created 10000 years ago. Scientist have said the earth is well over 4 billion years ago. Not to mention that the first homo sapiens fossils were found to be over 100 thousand years old.
What other written text are there about events that happened in the bible? As far as I know the bible is the only test with those events. There isn't even scientific evidence that either of these events ever happened.

I give up LOL. The ignorance here is overwhelming, too bad those who post here don't take the time to actually think things through instead of these simplistic and childish answers. Gosh just some simple study would clear things up, at least on the level ignorance and mindless chatter. I give up, no more trying to communicate with athiest. No different than right wing believers who are just as bad.

Ignorance is not reconizing the bible is just a book of FAITH and not FACT
for it is known as a book of faith
Everyone knows there is no evidence for jesus or any other event character in it....thats why you have to place your faith in it ...thats the main idea
its the same with god..we dont have scientific proof for god........it doesnt stop us beleiving in god......its all about FAITH.......NOT FACTS
get me now?
BTW I am a firm believer in god.......and I know there is no real evidence for god.....dont stop me from showing --> FAITH
for thats what its all about
