That was a joke??? On the Internet, I can't tell if a statement is a joke or not. I can only tell if you and me were together having beers at the bar. haha!
Actually I misunstood what you meant by frontal apparition. I thought you meant an apparition that occurred in front of me. I think that you meant an apparition of someone facing me, right?
In any case, it's most difficult to prove or disprove if what one sees is an apparition or not unless the thing appears instantly and while one just happened to have been looking right where the apparition takes place. In my case, it didn't quite happened that way. I was looking well ahead of me, then I looked down about 6 feet in front of me, then a couple of seconds later, I looked up again and saw the two teens. So, it's unclear if my encounter was truly an apparition. However the teens appeared about 25 feet in front of me. I tested this many times, and at that distance, the view range of the eyes is wide enough to still be able to detect moving bodies at well over 25 feet. (Test it out yourself to be convinced) So, I should have been able to see the teens even before looking up. Why then didn't my eyes detect the teens before I looked up? Being absent-minded just cannot explain it. Being blind would, but I'm not blind. haha.
Just this evening, I was walking across that field on my way back from work just looking almost straight ahead of me, not looking around. Yet my eyes detected a moving body at about 45 degrees angle at a distance of about 300 feet according to Google Earth! Moreover it was past 5 pm. Up here and at this time of the year, the sun is just about to set at 5 pm. So, it was starting to get dark. Yet I saw a man (dressed in black) that far. So, nobody will convince me that my failure to see two moving bodies dressed in black at less than 50 feet from me and in broad daylight can be explained by being simply absent-minded. I wish you could be here on the field. You would see how easy it is to detect moving bodies.
Cheers!

Thank you for sharing your stories... and believing me! It makes me feel better to learn that others have experienced a paranormal encounter too. Your encounters took place at night. Some people might suggest that since at night it's harder to see, it might not have been an apparition but something else. Did you find that people used that argument to attempt to dismiss your experiences? My encounter with a full body apparition occurred in broad daylight! Yet most people still don't think that I experienced an apparition. Even myself, I have a hard time to convince myself that I saw an apparition, a ghost.

I believe you Jean...here are a couple of shockers for you! In my rented home (20 yrs ago) I was making breakfast for my husband..it was about 4:30am as I turned from the stove to put breakfast on the table ..there was an elderly man sitting at my dining room table looking at me as if to say "what the hell are you doing in MY house?" I didn't jump or get scared, I didn't have the reaction you would think I'd have-I was quite calm and felt sorry for the old gent. I was about 8 mos pregnant at the time. I also saw a little boy of about 6 or 7 wearing a purple striped shirt and brown pants-he looked so sad and lonely. The little boy apparition didn't scare me either-I felt his sadness though, his little face was so lonely and sorrowful. There you have it! I have seen a few other entities...but none as clear as those two.

Wow! The apparitions you encountered sound quite convincing. Seeing an old man at your table is an apparition, no doubt about it. Did the old man disappear seconds later? You seem to have had numerous encounters with apparitions. Is it possible that some people are somehow more in tune to seeing apparitions? How did you learn to deal or accept that what you saw were ghostly apparitions? I'm asking because I have a hard time to deal with my encounter with an apparition. I don't want to accept that it was an apparition, but my analysis of the situation logically leads me to conclude that it very well might have been an apparition.

Hi, I have seen a full bodied apparition, of a man that I had met some 8 months previously. He was the father of another man I was waiting to meet. This first man walked past me, passing only 2 feet away from where I was sitting. I said to my friend, when he arrived, that I had seen his father. At this he said his dad had been dead about 6 months, and today was his birthday!

Impressive. Did the body make any noise such as his footsteps? In my case, the apparition never made any noise in the 40 seconds that they appeared to me. It's interesting that you encountered that full body apparition of the day of his birthday. That was perhaps his motive for appearing to you. In my case, the apparitions were two bodies dressed exactly the same way. What was their motive for showing up? They looked dressed as if for going to church or to a private school. But this happened on Thanksgiving monday -- a holiday, so, no church service and no school. They were probably on their way to Thanksgiving dinner well dressed for the occasion in their own time in the afterlife.

what makes you think they are ghost? did they walk through you or something???
I didnt think it was a ghost at all, the man walked past me close by, he was wearing the same old (almost shabby) tan raincoat, belted tightly at the waist, that he wore when I met him originally. I smiled at him as he walked past, but he just looked straight ahead, I just presumed he did'nt recognise me. there was no noise that I remember, but I was'nt really taking that much notice. nothing seemed unusual is all I can say.
