Sorry I have very little time to post this but I just wanted to get it out in case other people haven't seen it. Apparently these three friends were in the middle of the woods and called their friend asking for help. The friend heard hysterical noises in the background before the line went dead. It was on ABC, which is interesting.

I wonder why the police do not suspect foul play?

Are you suggesting it was a ghost or something paranormal?

I am suggesting that as a possibility. Especially since the police say "no foul play" which I assume means humans trying to kill/kidnap then. What else is left? Either they are faking their disappearance or something unusual occurred.

It could very easily have been a car accident. Cars go off the road all the time into embankments sometimes only to be found a long time later where people are too injured to get out of the vehicle. One story in particular comes to mind. They could have been attacked by animals. A woman was just killed by several coyote in California I think it was on a nature path.

It could be a lot of things.

The first thing that comes to mind is not ghosts or mutated or inbred mountain men.
