We walk through wooded country
On a crisp and misty dawn.
A doe leaps high across the path
Followed closely by her fawn.
To the field beyond the treeline
In the valley I've never seen.
She holds her course until they're lost
To an endless sea of green.
With islands of wildflowers
And their choirs of honey bees.
Sing of lands with lasting sunshine
Gentle souls can rest with ease.
The warmth of day surrounds us
With an enchanting silver gleam.
We cannot stay forever
I know its just a dream.
