Assuming Emyrwyn was on his way into room 101, Israel turned to follow him in high hopes. When he turned down the stairs, however, he could not have felt more hurt. A chasm of disbelief opened inside his already empty chest. He did not know love or happiness, but the cassock called to him. Israel swung around and flung himself at the door and shouted, to no avail--the door had locked itself.

"I need it," he gagged, refusing to let go of the door, to follow Emyrwyn downstairs. He wanted to shout so many things, but the words were stopped in fear. It was his punishment. He had died with the cassock, and he would die with it again.

When he turned around to yell at Emyrwyn, an object in the upper corner of the corridor caught his attention. The lens glinted with the dull light as it turned, surveying the hall. He stopped everything, beating, banging, shouting, and stared at the camera. Israel did not know what it was, but an immediate feeling of dread swelled inside him. The magic that made him move, that helped him calculate, surged. It screamed a warning that he could not comprehend.

But the robe that lay dingy and bloodied on the floor of room 101 held him fixed, regardless of how deeply he wanted to flee.

Arms crossed in the corner Josh Davies was the lead strongman at The Cat & The Crow. He had seen many a fight go down, usually knew it to before they did, the energy in the air would change and he felt it. That uneasy feeling in the pit of his stomach. His grandmother always told him to listen to the feeling and it had served him well many times including that time in Northern Ireland when he was working a pub and just knew he had to get out before it got firebombed.

His balding head glistened in the show lights as he stood with his back against the wall out of habit so no one would sneak up on him. A vein throbbed on his right temple then on his left just once. He breathed in deeply unsure of how he felt but he just did not feel right since before the false scare with Rosemerta.

She was trying to lure him using her womanly charms right before the end of the non-incident above the stairs he thought as his eyes traced up the staircase. He was no fool and knew she was working some kind of game. Then he turned to Rosemerta who was closing her cell phone and just did not feel right and knew it was more than what had transpired. He also just knew it had something to do with her. Tearing his eyes away from her he passed near-knowing glances with Aiden in loose regards to Rosemerta before walking away towards the back of the tavern.

Inside the security booth Gwen was sitting with her feet propped up on the desk while reading a book. The surveillance camera screen had a screen saver flashing the time oblivious to the fact of the pain Rosemerta went through and that Israel was going through at this very moment amidst the corridor of suites. Gwen Thomas flipped a page and looked up towards Davies.

"Aye Davies."

"What you reading?"

"Midnight Sun."

"Never heard of it but say there is some weird girl on the cameras I would like to take a better look at."

Setting the book down and coming down on his chair Gwen reached for the camera controls on the keyboard. Davies quickly continued, "It was around ten minutes ago min the tavern at the table nearest the hearth."

Quickly moving the controls to bring up that camera and rewind, dropping from the screen the camera where Israel was banging on suite 101, Davies told her to being playing the footage at that spot, "There."

"Slowly now."

"Pause it there."

"What the hell is that?" Gwen touched the edge of the desk with her fingertips and craned her neck to look closer at the screen followed by Davies peering over her shoulder.

"Claws?"

Gwen and Davies looked at each other when Davies told her not to tell anyone and to make a recording for him later. She simply nodded and begin to save a few minutes of footage of Rosemerta and Fenrir sitting at the table and also looking at her herself seeing that soon as she made claws she sort of just disappeared from the frame. She looked to the door but Davies was long gone though she wanted to show him but it would have to wait.

Quickly pulling up the keyboard she opened a browser and logged into the unexplained-mysteries.com forum. Taking a few still caps he uploaded them and then posted in the cryptid section:

You guys will not believe this. I think I have actual proof of a werewolf and I assure you this photo is not shopped. Just tell me what you guys think please.

Refreshing the browser to be sure there were no typos she laughed knowing it did not matter. This was real. She saw Agent. Mulder's name on the bottom of the page as viewing the thread.

Refresh. Agent. Mulder was posting now.

Refresh. Agent. Mulder posted:

Now as stable as before, Rosemerta heaved a sigh of relief as she slipped the phone back into her denim jeans pocket. Somewhere amid this night's progression, she felt anticipation. She new what it was, it was undeniable, she desired more then she would admit to see her pack.

But that like most good things she looked forward to it would have to wait. The music chimed loudly throughout the tavern, and Rosemerta looked over to see the friendly young woman singing jovially into the microphone lost in the music, moment and scene. How Rosemerta envied them at times, the humans and their simple lives, and when she had the chance to sit and ponder these thoughts, she realized how much she missed being human, how she had taken the chance to live a normal life for granted.

She looked back to the stairs in time to see Emywryn dash out into the night, but he was alone...where was Israel?
Her attention was soon brought back to the real world for a moment. Gazing furiously around the tavern a man with flaming red hair caught her momentary attention, he had looked upon her with caution, and she new by the uncanny instinct, it was he who suspected her. Too much time had been lost, she felt strong again, and was ready to make her departure form this tavern, but, if she had her way, she would not be leaving without her objective. Israel had not come down with companion, could he still be up there? Her hopes fell down low again as she saw Emywryn come back in and dash up the stairs, but she did not wait long when she saw him slowly coming back down, still alone and without Israel.

The tavern was now filled with guests singing along and dancing to the music playing, having one too many drinks and smoking their lungs out. Carefully she made sure the red haired man didn't appear to be watching as she slowly rose from the table, then slithered around the tables slowly towards the stairs once more. And there she watched as she passed Emywryn, and looked deep into his eyes allowing them to glow amber for him to see, it was subtle sign for him and she wanted, expected him to follow her. But it meant little, if Israel was up there that was what mattered. So she did not look back to see if he followed as she made up way up the stairs this time like a normal human. The hallway was still deserted when she reached it, and her heart skipped a beat. There, by the door, weeping like a child that had lost it's toy was Israel piled in a heap by the door 101. Closer and closer she came to him until she stopped right in front of the door, which he appeared to be leaning against, trying to get through.

"Something in there you want?" She said softly knowing his mind was closed to her, only aware of what he weeped for whatever that may be. Even though she knew what a monstrosity he was, she couldn't help feel somewhere in the depths of her heart, pity for him.

She reached up to the door handle twisting it with her strong hand breaking the lock hearing it crack, and she stepped inside.

Amber eyes meant lycan. Emyrwyn tilted his head back and let his eyes go as high as they could staring at the ceiling and thinking great. Not only did this town have vamps but weres too. Things already seemed more complicated just by this fact and easy sailing might not be in the cards when it came to getting at the Old Man of Chepstow.

Chaos was in the air and within chaos there is a perfect order. Most do not see chaos as such and miss the patterns unfold before them. Emyrwyn looked and saw another standing in the far corner whose eyes glowed the speckles of blue that were the characteristic of the Seelie Court. Then eyes of pitch dark black as he walked out towards the door pausing only to look directly down and with his left hand raised slightly to cup the air towards Fenrir. Eyes of battle. The Seelie Court for some reason has decided to order the death of Fenrir. Emrywyn was being chosen as the assassin and it was really annoying because a full scale war, if that is what this was going to be, was going to severely complicate things to no end....

...ducking into a corner Emyrwrn felt the magic rise within him as he visualized a glamour spell in order to change his appearance. Turning around with the visage of a bearded man that had salt and pepper hair around his temple he walked slowly towards Fenrir and taking out his Kimber Eclipse aimed with both hands before exhaling and firing directly into the back of the man Fenrir's skull.

Turning to walk out Emyrwyn holstered the pistol under what everyone saw was a cloak. No one dared challenge him as he walked out but as soon as his hand reached for the handle screams broke out behind him. First a woman and then other shouts of 'oh my god' and the like.

Lighting a cigarette Emyrwyn slowly turned and emptied the rest of his magazine into the door in case anyone was deciding to follow him. This time firing with one hand since he was not aiming at anything in particular. Then he walked past the body of another person who was tangled in some kind of wires. It looked as if they had fallen off the roof from the building across the street. A war had begun he thought as he took a drag and exhaled deeply towards the sky as he stepped onto the now open bridge.

Rushing past Rosemerta, Israel did not even offer a simple "thank you" in appreciation. He scrambled on weak knees to where his cassock lay, and snatched it up. He held it tight around his chest, like a child would a blanket, and silently made his way back to the door. He cast a fleeting glance into the bathroom as he passed it, and noticed that his gun was still lying on the counter. Surprised, he ran in and collected it, quickly moving to conceal it somewhere in Emyrwyn's fine clothes.

Israel glanced back at Rosemerta as he reached for the door, but gunshots in the bar below stole his interest. Immediately, he turned away and rushed out the door, as if the gunfire echoed his name. He rushed down the stairs, the compact Jericho in one hand, the old robe in the other. A deep scowl conveyed his immense frustration, and his willingness to fire. He was not afraid, but determined, and the hail of bullets seemed to remind him of a deep, dark agony.

He bolted through the pub, barely watching where he was running. He stumbled backwards, as a torrent of bullets burst through the tavern door. Israel did not see who had fired. He fell to the ground, and once the shooting ceased, he pulled himself back up and rushed out of the tavern.

As he reached the door, his back facing the night outside, Israel turned and plowed into an old man wearing a cloak. Israel did not have the sense to assume it was the man who had fired--or the man who had given him his new change of clothes. Israel stumbled over him, and rolled into the dust.

“S***!” Rosemerta hissed, “tonight just has to be one of those nights!” The sound of a gunshot just down below pitched her senses up to high, it was reflex for her to snatch out her pistol and aim it straight for the door. Israel had bolted into the room snatching up what looked like to Rosemerta a dirty old rag, it reeked of blood, and it was the robe he had been wearing. He was standing at the door with a Jericho revolver in his hand fleetingly gazing back at her, but she lost his attention in the gunshot sounding and he disappeared down the hallway much to her despair.

Screams echoed down below and this time several gunshots erupted “S***!” Rosemerta hissed again allowing anger to boil up inside her…she had sensed a threat, and now lost her objective yet again, the sooner she had the pack on side the better. For some reason she couldn’t find it in her to keep on the ball with these missions lately, she was flaking, losing determination…but why?

No time to ponder her feelings on the matter now she reminded herself, quickly walking through the rooms, her heart racing, in search for anything of interest, angrily kicking chairs aside and pulling out draws scattering there contents, piling bed spreads on the floor, but nothing, nothing except a blood stained floor and bathroom. Emywryn had not followed, which did not surprise her, but now she had perfect reason to get suspicious. It didn’t take an expert at math to add up that the gunshots came not long after showing the truth in her eyes to Emywryn. She had hoped to find out his position in regards to Israel.

The window facing south of the tavern was just behind her with the blinds drawn across, she pulled them open looking down below onto the awning and past that to the grounds outside seeing people scatter out the back doors into the parking lot for their vehicles like a bunch of cockroaches scattered when a light come on. Perfect timing she thought while opening the window as cold air gushed in sending a chill up her spine. She effortlessly climbed out on to the window awning below seeing it was only two stories up. With her pistol in one hand, she leapt off the edge hitting the ground silently as if she had only jumped off a five-foot wall; it went unnoticed amid the chaos of frightened humans, and for once she didn't care if they saw, they'd be the ones to fair badly if it came to it.

She jogged across to her car a red BMW unlocking it remotely then slid inside while the engine roared to life. She backed out furiously smashing into the tail of another car without stopping--leaving no room in her head for consideration. Ignoring the abusive screams from other drivers she swerved out of the parking space--beeping her horn loudly as people scrambled on foot, they threw themselves out of her way while she sped out of the parking lot forced to mount the curb briefly to spare a couple with a child. She swerved back onto the road before then cutting across the green lawn meeting a deserted road where she sped ignoring the speed limit towards the bridge.

Dust lifted from the ground as Israel stumbled and before it could settle Emyrwyn was already at his side. Eyes looked at the seemingly lifeless corpse but Emyrwyn knew and could sense the despairing void now beneath his hands as he attempted in slightly shaking Israel to.

Smoke was wafting up in quickly dissipating fumes from the entry wounds on his body mass. So this was the target on the other side of the door but for some reason Emyrwyn did not believe he was being chased by Israel but rather the workings of the balance were evident. Somehow all this would fall in place.

Without little time to react other than knowing he had to help somehow the situation quickly changes as then bright head lights from a distant car began heading towards them at a high rate of speed from down the road. Kneeling by Israel at the foot of the bridge there was little time to react other than to hold out one hand on Israel's injured form and another directly outwards towards the car barreling right at them...

(OOC: I know nothing about drifting a car...I haven't driven a car properly yet (am yet to go for my license) So if I got it completely wrong (most likely) to all you car nuts, please have mercy on me! Also, don't know much bout the layout of chepstow, just going strictly on a picture.) :unsure:

The windows were up, all was quite inside the car as it sped along the back road smoothly at high speed. Trees were a blur as Rosemerta sped towards the bridge, she made another small turn forced to follow the route of the road because across the field past the tavern there were too many trees making it impossible for car to drive through.

There on the field Rosemerta saw him, Israel tailing closely behind a strange man in a cloak, but the figure was suspicious, and as Rosemerta directed her eyes more fully on him for a few short seconds--amplifying her sight--she saw that the man in the cloak was in fact a powerful silhouette, an outline foreshadowing the real figure...which was Emywryn.

Nope, definitely not human, this being was able to produce a very convincing Glamour. They would make it to the bridge just before her, cutting through the trees, but Rosemerta would be close on their tail.

The field vanished as the trees became thicker on either side of the road. She accelerated faster and at that moment she felt a presence. A feeling she was quite accommodated with, the feeling of being watched, or followed.Though she looked in her rear view mirror and saw nothing, no cars tailing her or even anything a distance off--a completely deserted road, she knew all to well not to be deceived by appearances.

The bridge emerged, open and with gleaming lights from buildings visible from the distance on the other side. Typically, Rosemerta ignored any signs, and squinted as she registered the two figures standing in the middle of it, clearly not going anywhere. She knew immediately who they were...and Israel lay on the ground beside Emywryn who had both hands up, one in a protective gesture over Israel, the other held up in front of himself.

They were directly in front of her path, she came closer and closer to them and it seemed like she wouldn't stop. Without further ado she pushed the clutch in while turning the car gently to right simultaneously pulling on the handbrake; the tires screeched loudly as she drifted on the side to a halt, stopping just a meter from Emywryn so the passenger door was directly in front of him. Rosemerta reached over opening the passenger door and smirked at Emywryn vaguely seeing him through the silhouette of his glamour, which would fool any human.

"Both of you, get in!" She said.

The image spell was released as Emywryn allowed his true form to appear before Rosemerta. There was no sense in pretending by struggling to put Israel's seemingly lifeless corpse in the BMW. With one hand Emyrwyn grabbed Israel by the scruff and tossed him into the back seat. The cloak which was flapping in the river breeze seemed to become shadowy then becoming a dark mist before completely vanishing in wind.

Stepping into the passenger seat Emyrwyn flicked open a lighter and lit a cigarette while kicking one of his booted feet on Rosemerta's dash while adjusting the seat and leaning back comfortably in it. Trusting that the balance had brought them all back together, more or less since Israel seemed gone, they were silver bullets after all, Emyrwyn did not know where the night would lead them.

Looking out the window as the bridge beams blurred passed the edge of the sea could be seen on the far horizon. Tapping his cigarette once free of ashes out the window he turned to Rosemerta, "I guess we should get this one to a safe spot if you know of one...as you know I am just passing through."

ooc: Instead of just dropping out, I'm going to post an "exit" for Israel. Poor guy, he didn't even get to kill anyone (except for that lady, but she doesn't count). :( I still have Quinn, but I don't guess that the plot will allow for her anymore? Dunno, but I imagine she's still at the bar, if anyone else has the urge to jump in. Don't know how much longer I'll stick around, but if no one's interested, I can just go ahead and say she was shot too. xD

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There was a pain like no other. When he had died, Israel distinctly remembered the gut-wrenching agony of being beaten and stabbed; though he didn't remember by whom. He knew he deserved it, and took each blow as it was offered--he didn't complain, but instead treated it as the Discipline. For whatever reason, he had welcomed death. He expected a relief.
But this he could not describe. Where the bullets pierced his skin Israel felt as if he were burning. He had always been able to feel pain, it was the one thing the magic made sure he held on to. Forever. Israel would never feel the gentle embrace of a humid summer breeze, or the touch of the cassock against his chest; it simply was not the purpose of his punishment.
And suddenly, it became too much. Israel's body seized, and the festering wounds expanded in an eddy of gurgling, black ash. At once, the world seemed to slow; seemed to fade. The night seeped through the windows of the BMW, until Israel could see nothing but darkness.
As Rosemerta drove upon the bridge, a bump jolted Israel to the floorboard, and he felt nothing else.
