Yes. Al Gore loves going green.

His pockets and bank account are full of green. Thank's to his global fear-mongering.

He's even worse than Cheney / Haliburton.

And I'm almost giddy about it too. Existing fossil industries should be sanctioned. Green tech should be mandated.

Michelle, the point of the article is essentially:
"GORE IS EVIL BECAUSE HE HAS SO MUCH MONEY AND IS ONLY DONATING A LITTLE!!"
If this is not an outright attack on Gore, I don't know what is.

All I saw were facts...do you have an comments about the contents of the article itself?

Hey, I think he's a genious. Now Obama is even giving grants all over the country, to the tune of 3.4 billion dollars, to upgrade to smart-grids.

Hmmm...don't know what to make of Al Gore. I'm an active evironmentalist (within reason) but not very trusting of Al Gore. Isn't he a big hypocrite? Albeit I think he has done some good and gotten alot of attention on the environment, which was very very important.

Some jobs must and will be lost to green energies. Some must adjust. This is an ongoing cycle with all progress. People should be offered free education in the new fields, like in Europe, if your old trade disappears, by force or change. That way people will continue to have jobs and do their part ( like pay taxes and support themselves) That's just the way it is, a healthy environment has priority, because without it, we have nothing anyways.

It is a beautiful trait in the lovers character, that they think no evil of the object loved.

Al Gore is a modern day snake oil salesman. If people weren't so busy with the left right sissy fight, they could wrap their heads around it. Its no different than Cheney and haliburton or the Bushes and the trilateral commision. Step right up and empty your pockets, we have the solution for you.

He is investing in something he believes in...don't see any issue here whatsoever.
I am half skeptic and half believer, I have all of their strengths and none of their weaknesses.

Al Gore's latest eco-treatise, Our Choice: A Plan To Solve the Climate Crisis, is set to hit stores Tuesday. The former vice-president says he will donate 100 percent of the proceeds from the book to the the Alliance for Climate Protection, a green group.

But it turns out that the book money is small potatoes compared to what Gore could earn from his various eco-friendly investments. As a partner at Silicon Valley venture capital heavyweight Kleiner Perkins Caulfield & Byers, Gore is poised to reap hundreds of millions from investments in the companies that will benefit from the government's increased emphasis on green technology. According to The New York Times's John Broder, Gore could become the world's first "carbon billionaire."

Gore has been one of the most outspoken critics of global warming and a powerful advocate of carbon-reducing measures. As such, he has become a hero of the left -- a man revered for warning Americans to curb their carbon footprint and reduce their impact on the Earth.

I've stated this before, but it bears repeating..........

Al Gore "tearfully" spoke out about tobacco companies after his sister died of throat cancer..........

And then decided to accept campaign contributions from tobacco companies to help fund his Presidential run in 2000.

and after what was it 6 years of crying over the fact that he lost. he then turns his attention to the environment. one has to ask how much money is in it for him. he probable is asking the samething.

Al Gores public speaking fee £50,000 one hour - £100.000 three hours. costs of Hotel and travel have to covered by the client. hotel and travel costs include Al Gores assistants 22 of them.

all come to light when his agent was duped by a person pretending to be a governor from a university.

The Green movement is corrupt just like the big oil companies. whenever politicians assemble behind a movement such as the green movement you know there is money to be made and lots of it. at the end of the day the rich want to get richer.
