That ornament and the glasses are very pretty. I hope your mom gets it for you. I believe you can buy loose Swarovski rhinestones, that's probably more what I was thinking of, but I'm not sure how small they come, but no they aren't cheap either and it probably would still be in the thousands.
I make a lot of beaded jewelry... Swarovski crystal beads are one of the primary materials I use. They are expensive, no question, and you can't find "deals" on them either (retailers of Swarovski bead crystals make nearly no profit on them--I know this because I'm thinking about opening a bead store. LOL). A little 3mm bicone bead can be .12 cents. Need 250 of them? That will be $30 please. Most of my pieces have that many crystals in them or more too.
This is one of my pieces I created... the crystals on the outter edge cost ME $64 at wholesale. This very bracelet sold recently for $255 at a store. It's definitely a labor of love. That piece has $84 worth of materials in it... which means my labor to create it was 7.72 per hour (22 hours to create--design time NOT included). LOL. Not a great profit. haha. That's probably another reason why I appreciate well hand crafted items... typically speaking, the artist puts WAY more into than they get in returns. haha.

Wow, that's fancy! Very pretty. I had a friend who was into making bracelets for extra money while she was in school, and she was always complaining how expensive they were, trying to find deals online to get them so I knew they were pricey. I would help her sometimes, slippery little suckers, lol. Nothing like yours though, just shove some beads on strings, put on clasps and go more or less. Actually, she didn't do too bad though. A lot of people bought them from her.
