And you have every right to have your opinion. But as far as I know there were no terrorists in Iraq. Isn't that the story? Isn't that why we are about to start a war with another country? We attacked the wrong one? :D Kim there are lots of people all around the world that hate Americans. People that defend this war can't seem to make up their minds if it's about terrorists or helping the people of Iraq fight a bad government. And I remember just a little while ago you said you didn't believe in thsi war but you were a soldier and when you signed up you agreed to serve your country and a soldier doesn't question...something like that. And I have no idea where you got that I am sitting in a world of sunshine and rainbows. Hey if you want to kill for me or fight people who are trying to take away my rights and freedom you need to march right back here. There was no need to go that far. Come back and help me fight our government. :tu:

Well on this we can just agree to disagree, I don't want to derail the thread by going back and forth, plus you are my homegirl(friend), and we agree 90% of the time anyway :tu:

well this was all pretty inevitable and obviously predictable to anyone with half a brain.

In fact, it couldn't have been even more predictable unless he call himself..

Major Jihad Death to west, death to all infidels Hussain.

mmmmh yeah I'd really want him in the US army... yeah great....

How was it predictable? Because the guy was a Muslim
There are thousands of Muslims that serve in the Military with honor, this is the first time anything like this has happened from a Muslim Soldier, but it has happend several times from American Soldiers. I think to much emphasis is being placed on his religion. The guy was crazy, flat out, had it not been for religion he would've found some other reason to justify what he did, because he was mentally unstable. A SGT. in the Army walked into a psych.clinic and shot and killed 5 of his fellow Soldiers a few months ago, right down the street from where I work here in Iraq, I was close enough to hear the gunshots. Sometimes people just snap, and religion, race....or whatever has nothing to do with it.

VT is a school Virginia Tech not a state. As more comes out about this man it's pretty obvious he was a lot crazy and under radical Islamic influence. A lot of the initial reports have been shown wrong.

Sorry I guess I misunderstood.

POLITICAL CORRECTNESS
is a doctrine fostered by a dillusional,
illogical, liberal minority, and rabidly
promoted by an unscrupulous main stream
media which holds forth the proposition
that it is entirely possible to pick up
a turd by the clean end.

I wonder if he had simply claimed to be gay, if they would of let him out? Do they check you out to make sure? You know, send some guy or girl to hit on you and see if you'll do anything? It seems a reasonable way out for someone in his situation. It shouldn't have jeopardized his medical career.

Nope, many have tried the gay thing and most have failed ;) There are actually a lot of openly gay Soilders and couples in the Army now. I have seen quite a few Male Soldiers in Iraq that were flamming gay, I'm talkin arched eyebrows, lipstick, nail polish, the whole shebang
