I heard somewhere that an 'anonymous' caller said disclosure would happen on November 17th.

This of course is probably full of ****, so when the date comes and goes and nothing happens, I will sit back, laugh, and watch Star Trek on Blu-Ray.

Yes and Obama will also use the alien technology to take over the world...Now seriously, I don't believe it at all, stories like these come up every now and then, and in the end it's never true. If it actually happens, they would have to release tons of info about the aliens, people who created the ancient aliens theories would get rich in a matter of weeks, religions would lose many followers and so on...they even seem to know about the alien species, which according to what I read is similar to us humans, so I wonder, either they've been researching this for a very long time (how long would it take them to track down aliens and recover their spaceship and bodies) and it must have taken some good effort to keep it all hidden from civilians, or it's all fake.

As someone else said, time will tell us, if they actually do it, then nice, many things would change, otherwise we're back to the same old life.

"Aliens exist folks" tonnes of people panic, have heart attacks, commit suicide and generally anarchy reigns.

Then either "whoops, we were wrong" or "hello, I'm Zaphod Beeblebrox,we're here to party!".

I think this whole "disclosure" thingy is just a social experiment to see how many times the suckers will swallow the bait, hook, line and sinker before saying "screw this, I give up". I gave up a few years ago. Disclosure will never happen. They'd land on the White House lawn in front on thousands of MSM reporters, they wouldn't come out with it and try to pass it as swamp gas.

I don't know why there would be this "worst case scenario" of widespread panic with people rioting. I don't know about anyone else, but if aliens landed, I wouldn't immediately start throwing Molotovs at police officers and looting a shop for that TV I've always wanted.
Yeah, I'd be a bit anxious if they started eating people etc, but if they made open contact I think it would be under peaceful conditions - its us that would turn those conditions hostile.

Thanks for the link, Sweetpumper. Now I'm gonna contact my senators and congressmen and demand they vote to get us out of the UN.

There's already talk about my State succeeding from the Union. As of October 1st. our "firearm freedom act" went into effect. There's also talk of a few other States succeeding too.
