Tremble's Post Goggle Earth Structure Rate Topic: -----

browsing google earth i stumbled on a disturbing image at Christmas island. looks like an under-sea base or city or complex of some kind. you be the judge. located at 10*26'15" S 105*39'40"E look it up and respond if you see what i see.

I think I see what he means. I believe it's just .jpeg pixilation/compression. It happens a lot with even unedited pictures. The jagged edges and straight lines make un-edited images appear to have been tampered with, but it's just a function of the software used to translate the digital file into a viewable image.

i might be inclined to agree with you if i saw more of the same ANYWHERE else on the map, but i dont, so....

I'm not sure what we are supposed to be looking at. The white bits? They look like underwater bars. What part of it is city or base like?

if you cannot see the geometric shapes and discolorations off the coast in the water, then i cannot help you.Meh, it doesn't matter i know I see something

Some of their monitors may not be calibrated right to see it.

I agree with the jpeg compression hypothesis. In some areas the lines conform to and around the clouds/waves, which is a big tipoff.

the compression theory may be the answer, but again, i cant find this phenomema anywhere else in the world on Google earth, now, that being said, i also didnt go over every square mile of the map, so it may indeed be that. i just thought i should share.
