pointing

in a circle we stand,
fingers pointed with both hands,
to the left and to the right
at those who think differently,

seeking to set them aright,

perhaps in the end
when all is said and done
none of us knows
what the hell we really understand.

a dose of unknowing perhaps is what is needed
for a listening ear to grow in place.

"none of us knows
what the hell we really understand."

These two lines say it all Mark. We only think that we understand 'broad-based reality'. I've yet to meet a person who can describe 'true reality', other than from their own personal perspective, which is coloured by upbringing, education, cultural/societal 'expectation' life experiences and current life 'situation'. What is 'true' for one isn't necessarily 'true' for another.

Nice one Mark. Posted Image

I wonder how many people are tripped out on drugs on this site Mark, it's very pathetic and very sad.

Sane adulthood is entrapment in a world without magic, in a real world.
