I once read about a creature in a bigfoot book that was found in the jungle. From what I remember there were two men exploring in the jungle and out of the brush comes two apes charging at them, they shoot one and the other runs. They then take a picture of it(I think its arms are tied to a stick)

-Oh, I remember that thing... has anyone figured out whether it's a hoax or not? It's a particularly wierd one 'cause the body, hair, and genitals all look very real... but it's face is funny.

I think it was real, but I just don't remember if a verdict was ever reached.

It was a hoax involving a spider monkey. The hoax animal was called Ameranthropoides loysi.

There was a thread about that hoax some months ago.

It's the Deloys Ape, and there was a 5 page thread about it, not that long ago:

Check my posts in that thread: it's a spider monkey.

EDIT:

Sorry Ell, I didn't see your post.

Basil Fawlty: Zoom!
What was that?
That was your life, Mate!
That was quick, do I get another?
Sorry, Mate.
Back to the world of dreams.
Yes, dear?
