A soul cries out in the dark
A wish that was a spark
Dies in the embers of the heart

Floundering on the masses of hate
Stretching forth a hand for want of a mate
Too late

Sharp and clear acid rains fall on earths dry dusty soil
And there within the pit the soul drowns in oil
The oil of human excrement and toil

Above in galaxies of burning stars
Great Ships scuttle in astral breeze
Searching out other worlds
Where once again life embryos will submit and fold
To lie In cavernous pits of cold.

Wars rage on, on the astral plane
But on Earth the rot are rotten to behold
And all is still, as nothing could be gained, and nothing did they gain.

A depressing theme, but well described and very true.

  • Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were. But without it we go nowhere.

I can see the war out there in this world, one we might never win, but also the war within, I think we have a chance at that one. I also get a very cold feeling of things are as they are, even as we die here, out there germs and bacteria or whatever it is that flies in space is finding a nice place in the Universe to land and grow and evolve....so we can do it all over again.

Sane adulthood is entrapment in a world without magic, in a real world.

It seems to be a stark vison of reality, both universal and personal. Dark but well expressed.

Very well written and an exploration of such dark themes; good stuff.

Rosewin, such faith and honesty, stoic, that is how I would describe you. Thank you for not just reading, but giving your definition.
