My aunt and uncle actually hail from Union Wa which made this list. Union is nice I guess, but I never found it to be "breathtaking" and I was surprised to see it there. I can think of 10 more prettier places in WA to be honest (like Langley WA, where I used to live, it truly is a sight to behold lol).
Have you been to any of these places? Do they deserve their place on this list? Are there other places you'd consider prettier? Post pictures!

I've been to a lot of those towns: Burlington, Aspen, Monterey, Annapolis, Rockport, Portsmouth, Cape May, Sedona, Santa Fe, and Savannah--mostly via The Grateful Dead Tours circa 1979-1985.

I've been to several of the same towns... Aspen, Monterey, Annapolis, Sedona, and Savanna... truthfully? I thought Savannah was the prettiest of all of them. Sedona the least pretty. There's something about Sedona I just don't like... rubs me the wrong way. I prefer Flaggstaff or Prescot Az over Sedona.

This is a picture of Langley WA I mentioned earlier... I wished it really showed how beautiful it is, but it's hard to find a panorama of the town. What you CAN'T see in this is behind the buildings on the right, are sweeping vista views of Puget Sound and Hat Island. behind the buildings on the left are sweeping country Inns and amazing flower gardens. Langley is an artists community and romantic get-a-way more or less. The town is quite laid back, unpretentious, lively and gorgeous. It's located on Whidbey Island. The red painted building you can see on the right is one of my favorite places, and a former haunt of mine. It's a bar/restaurant called the Dog House. They have "hitchin' posts" out front for you to hitch your dog up LOL. (you can also take them on their back deck which overhangs the bluff and Puget Sound) I think Langley is one of the most charming places I've been in the world to be honest. It's about a 30 minute drive north of Seattle, and a quick 30 minute ferry ride (provided there aren't lines for the ferry, which can be brutal LOL)

Was in in Wales once at a young age. I remember it as being a very beautiful place.
Mind you, I didn't get to see any of the cities or towns, but in my opinion cities and towns the world over are a bit like looking at a shop window of man made rubbish.
The countryside in Wales is AWESOMELY beautiful.

the only way you'll ever learn anything about wales is by watching rhod gilbert
or this
not only is wales the most beautiful country in the world, it also has the most beautiful accent in the world, and probably one of the hardest languages to learn in the world

See that's were you're wrong cheeky-face!
My best memory, is standing ontop of a mountain top in the rain, smelling the damp earth and watching the rain clouds drape over the mountain peaks.
