Baffled scientists are trying to get to the root of this astonishing plant dug out of the ground by a Chinese farmer.

The two foot tall root weighs in at a massive 12 lbs and bears an amazing resemblance to a boy in even the smallest detail.

The root comes from the Chinese knotweed plant, used by local healers as a natural laxative.

It's a mandrake, actually. Luckily he didn't harvest it to early.

It’s not safe out here. It’s wondrous,
with treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross…
but it’s not for the timid.

I found that kind of misleading, but fortunately there was a picture to show the plant root and I think I know what they are aiming at :hmm:

lmao. but that small detail is quite huge.
We have not inherited this earth from our ancestors, we are borrowing it from our children.
They have given us a paradise lushed with vegetation. And we will return them a land of scorching deserts with rotting earth graced by black smog. Are we shameless?

If that's what boys are supposed to look like, then my parents' have been lying to me!
I... I felt strangely hypnotized.
I was in another world, a world of twenty, twenty thousand girls!
And milk! Rectangles, to an optometrist, the man with the golden eyeball!
