Well, the answer in that short article gives the answer, in my opinion:


The Mayan calendar was designed to be cyclical, so the fact that the long count comes to an end in December 2012 is really of no consequence,

I think this subject is dead. There are overwhelming information from credible websites that discredit it. Thanks for all enthusiats (believer or not believer) out there who has made my past few boring working days gone fast. The subject is dead to me. Now I have to go back to do my boring work.
