... and where pray tell did you learn that peace of info which contradicts everything biologists say about the Earth's Lungs?

I don't really know...it is just a part of my knowledge base...so, I have done a little research to see if my knowledge base is accurate...it seems that it is:

A 50 by 50 foot turfgrass lawn (2,500 square feet) releases enough oxygen for a family of four, while absorbing carbon dioxide, hydrogen fluoride and perosyacetyle nitrate.

GRASS FACTS

One acre of trees = oxygen for 18 people per year.

TREE FACTS

Facts: 43,560 = one acre   43,560/2500 sq feet = 17.4

17.4 x 4 = 69.6    Therefore:  While one acre of trees will provide enough oxygen for 18 people, the same amount of grass will provide enough oxygen for 70 people.
