  • Hey, I'm not wrong. I'm just not completely right.

If I had a trail camera, I would set it up by my Dad's place in rural Douglas County Oregon. He has lots of wild turkeys, deer, possums, raccoons, skunk, wild cats and probably some wild dogs running around out there. Plus the cougars that are supposed to live nearby. I've also heard of bears living only a few miles away, but that was like 20 years ago. We had neighbors that worked at the Wildlife Safari in Winston and they were hand raising cheetahs. I've also seen a emu living wild out in the woods near our house. And some wild peacocks too.

I'm assuming you are taking your pics in the coastal forest, Sakari?

Keep posting these great pics. Maybe you'll get something rare eventually.
Here at Intel we make processors on 12 inch wafers. And, the individual processors on the wafers are called die. And, I am employed to check these die. That is why I am the DieChecker.

This is a Great Basin Rattlesnake I found in the same area as the Horny Toad. I have never seen one this copper tinted color before they are usually gray tinted.

This is an American White Pelican that I saw while tromping though the marshes along the Great Salt Lake. This is a male, females don't have the protuberance on the beak.

Hope you don't mind the photos Sakari.

I looked in search , found nothing on trail cameras.....

I live on the Oregon Coast , part of a supposed " Bigfoot " hot spot.( look at my other posts to see my belief on this)....Anyway , I just ordered a trail camera with infa red flash ( whatever it is called)....I only bought it because we have Elk , Cougars , Bear , Deer , fox , racoon , etc...And I would like to get some pictures further back in the woods....

I was wondering if there is a section anywhere where people post the pictures they get.I know , not a paranormal thing , but , it is a camera with no one around , in a secluded wooded area.I thought it might be cool to post what people capture ( even if it is not Bigfoot )...Anyway , if this is a bad place or idea , let me know...Or if anyone wants to see what lives in the "Bigfoot area" in the woods , I can start posting in about 2 weeks or so....
That sounds like a great idea, Sakari! You should totally go for it! I'll be watching!

This thread made me go dust off my trailcam. I haven't used it much lately but I am planning on setting out out sometime next week.
I will definitely post anything worthwhile. I live in Florida so there is certainly a diverse array of animals that I can capture on film.
Sweet! I live in Fruitland Park, FL in an apartment and so unfortunately I cannot join in. But I'd love to watch this thread, I love the great outdoors!! Great job everyone, who is joining in! I'm watching!!

Why haven't I seen this thread before?  I have 2 trail cams (one with solar panel) out in Wisconsin.  I've captured birds, deer, raccoons, squirrels, chipmunks, skunks, bear and wolves on it.  I've had them for 3 years now and they takes a picture right before it does a 20 second video.   I use it mainly for hunting. I haven't seen a Bigfoot out there, but my dad claims that one of the bear pictures is a bigfoot.

'm new here and this is my first post. My wife does a lot with game cams, she's into the bigfoot thing but likes to collect any pictures of wildlife. She also has experimented with how quickly something can take apples and get out of the viewing area before the camera triggers off the pictures. I don't know how to post pictures but I'll post her picture page site. She has a picture of some type of primate that is the main focus of her site. There are several pages of pictures and the pictures of the apples disappearing and the culprit, surprised the heck out of me.
