I feel that polls have huge potential for
misrepresentation.
They are worded by agenda driven people on
both sides.
Consequently, being partisan as they so often are,
I tend to not put much faith in them.
Although their influence on the masses can never
be underestimated in the shaping of public opinion.

Vote with your heart...
Not the popular direction the media often promotes.

Link? I've been all over CNN, no such thing.

Too many people on both sides of the spectrum have fallen into this mentality that a full one half of the country are the enemy for having different beliefs...in a country based on freedom of expression. It is this infighting that allows the focus to be taken away from "we the people" being able to watch, and have control over government corruption and ineptitude that is running rampant in our leadership.

People should be working towards fixing problems, not creating them.

EVERYTHING CNN says is on the CNN.com website.

After reading though this thread, I scoured CNN.com for the information babs has given.. and there was nothing. That information doesn't exist.

BurnSide... not true. I remember hearing about something from CNN, and then searching the CNN website for it so that I could post a link, and I couldnt find it.

In that case what was said was most likely an opinion by one of the hosts of CNN, right?
i'm pretty sure all important information, such as if bush was winning coast to coast, would be on the site.

No actually, what I saw on TV wasnt opinion. It was a piece of news.

I still say just before the election, another attack will come.  And bush is gonna whip out good ole  #11490 and screw this country to the wall.

So imho it doesn't matter who's voting for who.. I know who I'm voting for, but for some reason, deep down, I don't think the elections will be in november.

Morality is the platform to choose.
Vote for the representative that embodies this.

In the end,  without morality we face the grim
possibility of becoming a "paper tiger" living in
a house of cards,  on a foundation of sand.

Look at every past civilization and the morality
structure.
When this goes...so does the rest.

Of course,  defining morality is another issue in itself.
That is another debate altogether.
