I forgot to mention, I enjoy The Dead Files.  Amy actually seems to be a medium.

Dead Files has piqued my interest. Ghost Hunters is OK, but why is it they see all these things going on yet catch precious little on camera, even with the myriad of equipment they set up. Ghost Adventures is better but I wish they wouldn't spend half the show talking about each location, just get to investigating already!

"Paranormal Witness" is a great ghost show, although it sometimes deals with other subjects. I like how it combines interviewing and recreations without manufactured suspense. The stories seem more believable than those on other such programs. As for fictional shows, I like "Ghost Whisperer".

There is one reality with billions of versions.

As many already said, Ghost Adventures and Destination Truth without a doubt.

But also shows, that are not primarily ghost-hunting. - Fact or Faked, I Survived Beyond And Back (firsthand NDE-stories), Paranormal Witness, My Ghost Story, Ghost Mine, Ghostly Encounters, and A Haunting.

 Favorite? Try one that is even close to being "accurate", with no "paranormal help" from the casts and/or crew. Have watched about every tv show that the SyFy Channel had dare to show, along with some others that were no better. I keep on watching "Ghost Hunters" with the possibility that, at some future time, there will show-up a full body, solid apparition, that will give the crew "heck" for being a bother to "it" and teach them a lesson that they won't soon forget but will send the ratings through the roof. :tu: :tu:

I'd say recently, Ghost Adventures has been keeping my interest. Although I have to agree with Ajnaya, it can become quite distracting when they get overly loud when they capture potential evidence. I'd like it if they were just a bit more quiet during the investigations.

Ghost Hunters (TAPS) is a half-hour show padded out to an hour, with 30 minutes of back-slapping, hand-shaking, knuckle-touching, and assorted dramas among the crew. And then more shaking of hands.
It could be really good, but it's just ok.

The most entertaining ghost show I've seen is Ghost Hunt (New Zealand) because of presenter/ghosthunter Carolyn Taylor. When anything spooky happens, she screams and runs out of the building! Unfortunately (but understandably) only 10 episodes were made.

It would have to be supernatural for me, though it goes further than just hunting ghosts. There are some episodes that seem quite rushed, the acting can become somewhat sucky and they drag things on for several episodes but there are so many monsters brought forth, some which I am pretty sure have never been introduced before into films/tv, etc.

My favorite hunters in television and films are Dean and Sam Winchester (Supernatural) and I don't know if anyone can remember the cult classic horror of 87 'The Lostboys'

Always loved Edgar and Alan, though they were't much hunters back then

If you're actually meaning where they actually investigate into ghosts then none for me. We have a television series called Most Haunted I think but I don't watch it because it's a load of bull. My ex used to work on the set of it and said it was all fake. Silly people actually believe that they do see ghosts with every episode.
