Oh well, not so bad, i got entry for 468, year of the Battle of Cape Bon.
That was a joint military expedition of the Western and Eastern Roman Empires led by Basiliscus against the Vandal capital of Carthage. The invasion of the kingdom of the Vandals was one of the greatest military undertakings recorded in the annals of history, a combined amphibious operation with over ten thousand ships and one hundred thousand soldiers. The purpose of the operation was to punish the Vandal king Gaiseric for the sacking of Rome in 455, in which the former capital of the Western Roman Empire had been overwhelmed, and the Empress Licinia Eudoxia and her daughters had been taken as hostages. She was not Helen of Troy, probably neither of Annoy, but she was really important, so that two Empires decided to get her back.
Outcome? Vandals made sudden attack during peace negotiations, one half of the Roman fleet was burned, sunk, or captured, and the other half retreated with Basiliscus.
476. UN Security Council Resolution 476, adopted in 1980, stated that any moves and actions by the state of Israel to change the status of the Holy City of Jerusalem would be invalid and in conflict with the Fourth Geneva Convention. (For the record, the USA abstained).
