921 earthquake was the second-deadliest quake in (recorded) history of Taiwan. It occurred on September 21 1999 and it was so strong some sections of land near the fault were raised, resulting with a new waterfall 7 metres tall.

Calendar you used in year 924 you could have simply reused in years 952, 980, 1008... 1988, in other words, every 28 years, the next is 2016, but only if you’re not observing any floating holidays.

Edit: and if you're old enough to have a calendar from 924 in your attic.

926. IPI-926 is an experimental drug candidate undergoing clinical tests for the treatment of various forms of cancer. Would be fantastic if it turns out that it works.

July 21st 927: England is born.

After a long process of annexations, the various small Anglo-Saxon kingdoms within what is now England are unified by King Athelstan (the grandson of King Alfred the Great, who was elected King of the kingdoms of Wessex and Mercia in 924), creating the Kingdom of England, a sovereign state which existed until 1707 when it unified with Scotland to form the Kingdom of Great Britain.  Athelstan became the first king of all England.

On that day Chinese fishing trawler collided with two Japanese coast guard patrol boats. No one died, if we don’t count the fish.

929. The Mazda 929 was a car (well, yes, of course it was) produced between 1973 and 1995. This thread really does resemble a jumbo episode of Top Gear, doesn't it?
