Credence Clearwater Revival, the San Francisco Bay-based rock band brought the Bayou sound to the west coast and the whole country in the '70s. I happen to enjoy the song I will post for you to be warned about that moon. (note the current avatar I have).

"I see the bad moon rising, I see trouble's on my way...
don't go out tonight, when the moon is shining bright,
there is that bad moon on the rise." (not exactly quoted)

Yes, 10 years gone. One of my favorite Zep tunes.

For any single men inable to find the right woman, because they limit her to the "pretty" ones: Take abit of advice from Jimmy Soul in a song from 1965 on which type of girl you marry: the "ugly" ones, because they find you the right one.

Ok kiddo, I have to admit, you've posted some of my ALL time favorites! You and I have some similar taste in oldies. LOL.

Here's another one on the same theme, different band that I love:

A little Lovin' Spoonful  ... Summer in the City

"It's time for the American people to stand up and shrug off the shackles of our government at TSA at the airport"  Ron Paul

"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." Benjamin Franklin

My brother had the 45 record of "I Put A Spell On You" when I was a kid. I thought it was great then, and I still think so.  Creedence did an excellent version of the song, too:

But the original is always best.
