Caught off the coast of New Zealand, this is the remains of what is thought to be the largest Octopus ever caught. It is believed to have been over four metres in length, and weighed 75kg.

4 meters puts it in the range of the Giant Pacific Octopus! a record holder maybe, but a new creature it is not! I'm still waiting for marine biologists to stumble upon the living globster (a potentially 200 ft. creature)
