HUH? Sorry, I have no idea what this post says. there seems to be almost no punctuation, and the spelling doesn't help either, no offence...... It's just that I don't get it. Sorry.

  • 2 months later...

Well, it's one month later and I'm still alive after the so-called End of the World. And I feel...fine!

You are dead, you're just in shock.

In three days you will all finally realize that you have been dead this whole time.

Perhaps this topic's title should be renamed "How to rob millions of dollars and get away with it"?

Well, it's one month later and I'm still alive after the so-called End of the World. And I feel...fine!

You mean three months.

Crazy christians shouldnt be viewed as representing christianity. p***es me off when they dont realise there going against christianity by making end of the world predictions.

Matthew 24:36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, [2] but the Father only.

I agree with that entirely. Extremists in any group do not represent most religions. Islamic and christian extremists do not represent their religion.

It's a shame they bring the whole thing down. You never hear about the moderates.

The end of the world is within you,

It happens ever and again through the years,

But never on the merely physical plane

Despite fervent beliefs and fears.

Apocalyptic upheavals take place in the sky,

The subtle invisible spheres.

But those on the Earth who have eyes, they can see,

And prepare as the moment nears.

I think that a lot of the outbreaks of apocalyptic fervor are driven by real events and probability currents that are subliminal in the deepest sense: below the threshold of mass consciousness. A lot of the prophecies and expectations actually do come true, but strictly in the spiritual realm. This often makes a big impact on the material world, but not in the direct, literal sense that most believers imagine.

A good example is the Gospel prophecy in which Jesus said, "This generation shall not pass" before the end of the world / Second Coming had taken place. This is pretty clear evidence for a short time frame, and provides a lot of grist for debunkers' mills. But a big apocalyptic event took place right on the mark: the destruction by the Romans of the Temple of Solomon (and most of Jerusalem) in 70 AD. Meanwhile, Christians were already being martyred and thrown to the lions in Rome. Now consider the possibility that a lot of them actually experienced the events prophesied by Jesus: a collective ascent to heaven, a veritable Rapture, even though physical life kept rolling along in blissful ignorance.
