That reaction is simply classic. You would do that, you can see her mind processing it before she reacts haha. Got one here but not quite as extreme. Watch at 0:21.

My friend used to have a furbby (don't know if I spelled that right) doll, and at night it would randomly start talking/ making noises and would always wake her up.

That actually happened to me too. My father (thinking I would like them) bought me 2 of them, and one was given to me by a family member. Furbies always sorta creeped me out, so I stored the 3 of them on the top of my dresser (the dresser was maybe a foot from the ceiling). I never taught them anything, and never touched them, other than to turn them off. In the middle of the night, while my family and I slept, they would randomly turn on and start talking to each other in a mix of both the ferby gibberish, and English, while spinning around and running into the wall. The English, I'm sure they learned from normal household convo. I usually would just get up and turn them off, or they would stop on their own.  I had them for a few years before telling my mother and father about them. I was between the ages of 11 and 14 during all of this. My mother promptly removed them, and threw them out. I am not religious, but my parents are. I am very spiritual though. My mother by the way is a bit of a horder, and never throwes anything out. I just thought it was weird, and thought I'd share.   ~Namaste

Robert the doll would have become a piece of firewood.  But first I'd have pinched his head off :)

I always hated my cousin's Teddy doll. That thing used to say some messed up stuff in the middle of the night.  Even after we took out the batteries and tape.  We eve went so far as to throw it away. That lasted until his parents got him a new one. Which we promptly burnt.

There are two reasons dolls move.
The doll houses an entity that moves it's limbs, which is more demonic in nature, and is usually one entity.
Or the dolls move from one place to another. Which is more poltergeist or mischievous spirits. It can be one or more entities.

I've had skulls and statues move from one place to another, but never a doll.
Most of my doll like items are nothing like a barbie or raggedy Ann to boot.
I have UFO catcher plushies from Japan mostly.
I do have all three Yoshiki dolls by Takara however, and a few traditional Japanese dolls.
