You don't seem skeptical enough to have the name  'skeptik19'.

What do you think it is?

I took this pic while camping just east of San Diego, CA about a year ago. Camp Cuyamaca.
I was taking random pics with my digital camera of the site just before sundown. I never saw this with my own eyes, I saw it a minute later while going through the few I just shot.
I thought it would be easier to find interested people and I don't know how I feel about this kind of stuff but I thought it needed to be out there for the pros to analyze.

please let me know what you think
I think what is unexplained is.. if you expect "pro's to analyze" this, why you haven't told us what camera it was and why you have posted a tiny, exif-stripped non-original 640 x 480 image that is very heavily jpeg compressed to the point where it contains virtually no usable detail...

Looks like cigarette smoke.

No photo manipulation required.

might just be condensation from breathe, though it looks more like smoke.
Don't see anything that would make it paranormal.
It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Must admit the first thing that came to mind before reading the thread was smoke.

If it is cigarette or smoke from a fire, why does it go up and come back down again.  I'm a smoker and we have a fire pit and I have never seen smoke do that before?  Smoke usually goes up and fades away.

If it's a paranormal activity, I would say it looks the most like a doorway of some sort, although, I have to admit I've never seen anything like it before.

If your camera lens is dirty, clean it.

...huh? That doesn't make any sense. The smoke in the pic isn't doing anything out of the ordinary. There are these things called air currents that carry smoke all over the place...

You don't see the arch shape in it?  What would cause that?  If it is  smoke, then what, two fires that meet in the middle?

There is definitely two points that are coming up and/or going down to the ground.

And why would the smoke at the top come to a dead stop and not be seen higher up?

Just because it is a mystery to YOU doesn't make it unexplained.

STORM - a must watch - caution, some profanity and may cause you to experience reason.

Smoke and wind can form whatever random shape(s) it wants to at any random moment in time, it's fluid not solid. I don't understand what your point is.

I don't have a point, I am just trying to understand how smoke would cause that shape.  I would think smoke would go up and stay up but I'm not an expert on smoke.  So I thought I would ask.

Surprisingly, that is how I learn new things.

Smoke goes up, wind blows it down. Wind beats smoke.

I am not sure what might have caused it, but it is obviouly a camera artifact of some kind, light reflecting off something and either the slight jostling of the camera, the shutter speed, or an object actually moving, like a bug or something being blown by the wind, created the sense of motion in the photo. I get them all the time in low light situations. They are almost as ubiquitous as "orbs".

That sounds logical to me.  Thank You.

Well, yeah. Did you think you would post that pic and get handed an award for providing proof for the existence of ghosts or something? Of course it and you will be questioned.
