Stumbled onto a book series at the library evening before last. Nightwatch. Now I'm a few pages from being done with the first book, I hit the library again and picked up the other three books in the series.
It's pretty interesting. Folks with magic powers that fall onto the sides of dark and light.. Dark and light have an uneasy truce with each other and keep each other in check.
Just thought I would share in case anyone out there is looking for something new to read.

They are both great! Really worth watching. Russian films, they were filmed in Russian in Moscow and are completely unique! I loved them both. Available everywhere on DVD, there are versions of both with options for Russian with subtitles or dubbed English.
They are great, great, great! Buy them, they are cheap and a total movie heaven bargain.
The end of Day Watch had tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat.

The first two are essentially a full story arc in themselves though.
