So? It is the Parent's responsibility to Try to keep their kids out of trouble. It is a parent's responsibility to grab that tiger tail and hang on with both hands while kicking those tiger claws away with both feet. The US is too much into slack parenting. When we have so much drug use and crime and we blame it on everyone/everything except the parents.

Planned Parenthoods big line is... "Only you can decide what is best for you.". This is the root of their counciling, and education. Thus, if a kid decides that sex is what is best for them, PP says... Whatever, that is for you to decide. They don't actively encourage sexual activity, but they sure don't Discourage it either.

Wow!  You made a great point and then edited it and messed it all up.

Hold on,are you saying that people are slacking as parents by trying to utilize every available resource to educate and council they're children about sex and its ramifications?
Nope. I'm for using all resources, but PP is not a resource that is overly parent friendly. It basically allows your young daughter, regardless of age, to come in (usually regardless of local and state law) and get birth control without the parent's knowledge or consent. Basically it makes it easier for your daughters to sneak around on the parents and provides education that the parents might not be in favor of.

There are many examples of PP going against parents wishes regardless of local laws. PP is not so much about educating people, as trying to help them deal with Not getting pregnant, or ending a pregnancy. People don't (on average) go there for education, but to deal with a Problem after it has happened.

I'm not even saying that they don't provide a good service. I'm saying I don't agree with how they run those services.

Sorry.
Here at Intel we make processors on 12 inch wafers. And, the individual processors on the wafers are called die. And, I am employed to check these die. That is why I am the DieChecker.

Sorry.
Now we're talking!  I think what you meant to say was was it makes it SAFER for your daughters/sons to sneak around{re:hormones}and it provides education that parents SHOULD be in favor of. As the piegraph shows the services provided are all good things when it comes down individual situations. And the kids{again, those raging bugger hormones at work} will inevitably take the path of least resistance{meaning they can't or won't talk to ther're parents}. The health and welfare of our children is what we need to concentrate on,and PP provides a SAFETY NET.If there are problems with PP {not those in the video, those are just moronic}then they will be addressed.

So your daughter is sneaking off to have sex and Planned Parenthood are the bad guys for offering protection?!

Long before planned parenthood was around, kids were sneaking around to have sex.  Long after planned parenthood is gone, kids will be sneaking around to have sex.  In countries where there is no planned parenthood, kids are sneaking around to have sex.  One has nothing to do with the other. If the parents do not want their child to have birth control when they are sneaking around having sex, that seems like a serious problem with the parents.

Plannsd Parenthood came about because of the explosion of teenage pregnancies and STD's,for people who had no other place to turn.Long before PP kids were dying because of the unavailability of information. How many lives do you think have been saved?
