Does anybody have anything to say about this?

I never doubted myself for a minute for I knew that my monkey-strong bowels were girded with strength, like the loins of a dragon ribboned with fat and the opulence of buffalo dung.

Bull-corn, Bracket!  God's plan was set in motion before the foundation of the world. The dragon is a liar and a coward. I see no strength in tempting a naive young woman into doing something she has been forbidden to do.

Your post smacks of atheistic God bashing.

Actually if you think about it satan is just following gods plan. Everything Satan does is with the approval of God.

So God's plan needed Satan to trick humans?

God's plan was to foil the dragon's treachery.

Are you really as dense as you seem to be?

Like you, he seems little slow achieving it.

Satan is not more powerful than God. I can swear it.

From our human viewpoint the God is partly evil and he partly tolerates him who is called "Satan".

But there is also a good side of the God, his interconnection with Holy Council and their Plan about the demoniacal world. It was given a very long time to prosper and to rule our world and to be in an advantageous position, but there is a power that will affect this world, no matter what it will do to continue its prospering.

Nonetheless, it is an interesting message and I will try to study its details later.

I'm not bashing. I just found it and thought it was interesting. Do you have evidence that disproves this?

I take it that your god created everything hence satan so whats your beef with satan, if he or it is part of gods plan, that is.  Satan gets far to much credit for gods work imo.

My late mother, who definitely was of the christian faith, had little patience for the devil, considering the existence of such an entity somewhat ridiculous. In reality, I believe that Satan is symbolic of anything that keeps you from God, any distraction that leads you away from the straight path. These things are basically flaws and weaknesses within us, but it is much easier to externalize such ugliness into the figure of horned varmint, #666, than deal with the problems at their source, us !

Actually, I tend to think the thread title is probably an accurate accounting of the state of humanity, the satanic, being the selfish, wilful, and egotistical side of us, showing little sign of weakening its grip on us little humans. Just don't fall into the trap of imagining there is some scary creature carrying a trident.

So, how can one imaginary being be stronger than another?

And no, I'm not an atheist.
We are born with 2 fears: Falling, and loud noises, all others are LEARNED.
You say fear is all in the mind. I say you are right; for it is our imagination that makes things seem scary.
If you want to learn how to not be afraid, ask.
