The remains of a big cat may have been found in a Cornish pond folllowing claims that a giant predator has been killing wildlife there.

The skeleton of the big toothed creature, whose skull resembles that of a cougar, was spotted in Par - close to where sightings of a beast have been made.

It was spotted by a bemused local who reported seeing what she believed to be the remains of a small crocodile in the calm fresh water pond.

The small eye sockets and the dentition are a sign that it's not a felid. Probably a badger. It doesn't even look that big.

Ya, for sure

Then again ...it may have looked like a cat, before its mishap with cell portation technology.
