There are eerie similarities between the Mothman and the Demon Pazuzu.  Native Americans called a similar creature that haunted the Ohio Valley the Piasu. More on this topic here Startling Facts About the Mothman Here

No, because the Mothman doesn't exist.  The entire story was a post-hoc creation.

If you are going to write a work of fiction I think that you could totally say that the Mothman could absolutely be the Demon Pazuzu.  You go for that - but in reality, both Mothmans and Demons are pretend.  Kind of like He-Man, Transformers, Spiderman, and Bigfoot too.   Try not to blur the line between real and pretend too much and you'll be fine.  A handy way to tell the difference is that there is evidence for real things and not evidence for pretend things.  Here's a good comparison.  Moths and men are real things that there is real evidence for.  We have studied moths and men and learned a lot about them by examining evidence.  Mothman and demons - not real things because there is no evidence for them, besides erstwhile stories.

Have a great day!   :D

Besides having wings, what are the similarities?

It's hard to say, of course, but I definitely think they could be the same "thing."

666 feet in circumference

Hmmmm. Now if this were the circumference of the Jersey Devil, certainly, it would be very intriguing!

They are both very similar.

As in, they are both fictitious.
