I'll try to explain the best I can.

Sometimes, when some of my dreams are almost over, right before I wake up, I'm always at the same place.

The place is small peninsula, and at the tip of the peninsula, is a lighthouse. Immediately surrounding the lighthouse is grass, as you get farther away from the lighthouse the grass fades into sand. It's very flat, and always sunny. Whenever I'm here, I'm filled with unlimited happiness. I just don't know how to explain it. It's like this place was made for me. It's like this place was made by me, or is me. When I'm here, I'm at peace with myself. Also, when I'm here, there is music playing, and the music is so good, but I can never remember it. It feels like Heaven. Just endless happiness. It also feels like I've been there a million times... but I only remember going a few.

This place almost feels like a bubble universe of some sort... in that I am part of it, and that the only one that can be there is me.

Does anyone have a place like this? In their dreams or AP travels? When I am here, it seems more than a dream.

Please keep in mind I've only had about 5 true OBEs, most of them last summer when I was stress/anxiety free. All of them were pretty uneventful (except the first one) I was pretty much just roaming around my house. If everyone has a place like this, that would be interesting.

Another thing is that the lighthouse is never shining when I'm there... whether that means anything or not I don't know.

I've never experienced anything like this...but I sure would love to.  You're lucky!

Sort of. I have a few different places that i've dreamt about that give me that happy/peaceful feeling that I return to every now and then in my dreams. I'm never alone though, usually i'm with one certain person or a whole group of people.

The strongest place is sort of a town along the coast somewhere. It feels west coast to me, even though I've never been anywhere along there.  I've been to many different places in that town, but I don't remember them all once I wake up. There's a small bridge inland somewhere I remember, a road that runs really close to the beach, a look out area that overlooks the ocean..I've been to the beach there the most though. It's a really familiar place when I'm there, and at this place I'm usually with one other person.
This is the place where I feel that endless happiness most often. :)

In my childhood i created many dreamscapes. These were entered through one portal or doorway and could be accessed  from each other via other portals and doorways. I called them "the realms" As a young child I had one land in which i was like your self. I was "king" of my domain. It was childlike and had many inelligent animals and magicla devices etc it was an underground realm, filled with forests rivers mountains castles and all sorts of real and mythical beasts It had flying carpets and the lot Later i used the idea and many of its creatures and devics  for it, to create a land and story lines for dungeons and dragons modules which I wote.

The closest thing i have seen to it in 'real life " is the land created in the online version of  "World of warcraft but i created mine, and lived in it for years, in the late 1950s  :innocent:

Eventually as i got too old for it, my loyal guards tossed me out, and locked the portal, but I moved on to other parts of the realm, more appropriate for a young teenager.
(Sexy women in various states of undress, space ships and other elements  )
My safest place in dreams was my own family home.  I was always safe there. But also i developed both offensive and defensive "weaponry"  to keep me safe in any dream. I had read in a couple of novels about how a person can create weapons and defences strong enough to overcome the worst product of their mind. That applies in dreams and in waking life.

Ultimately  in my dreamscapes this was a force field projected by my mind and powered by force of will, that protected my body. I aso possessed the conscious understanding that the power of my mind could defeat anything within my mind.

I always knew th t my dreams were my domain; that i could not be hurt, nor could i do any harm in the waking world, in my dreams. Eventually i became a being of pure consciousness, which required no physical protection. It could travel at will, and become one with any other conscious entity in my dreams. SO i could have my mind in a robot, alien being, robin hood, a woman slave from ancient egypt or even an animal.  That is a  whole lot of fun, even for an adult.
Even today many of my mundane dreams encopass my home  from childhood, and its neighbourhood, which no longer exist.

I still live in that world, and even travel further back into its past, before the time when i was born. This dreamscape is slightly different, in having shortcuts to travel and slightly different physical laws, but it is basically the place of my childhood.

I also occupy the modern neighbourhood in my dreams. For example, taking guided "flights" by day and night  over the surrounding district of some several hundred square miles. I am very comfortable in this dreamscape, but it lacks the stimulation and challenge of other dreamscapes, precisely because it IS safe.

Sometimes i consciously create alternative realities for my home town,eg where an alien space ship lands in the bay,  or where the japanese during ww2 have fought their way south to our area; and then playout "heroic" or "historical" scenarios  for a bit of fun. Ive done that sort of thing all my life.

Ps I am over 60 years old.

You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world..

Be cheerful.

Strive to be happy.
