Well going there costs a lot of money and resources. But perhaps there is another reason....
About the flag, perhaps its caused by something else like by the effects of the equipment. they had to take a picture of the flag as well, so if theres no wind you need to have a rope on the flag or something for the picture of the flag right?.

I was 8 years old in July of '69.  Loved everything about the excitement of the times and saw the whole world in an uproar of excitement over this American achievement.  Apollo missions 11,12,14,15,16, and 17 (the first night launch)landed 12 Americans on the moon's surface.   The costs were astronomical and we were fighting in Vietnam at the same time.  Eventually those who advocated spending money on the "Great Society" won out and our return missions ceased.  That flag doesn't actually wave, it's just on a frame that holds it upright.  There have been photos of the landing sites that show the base of the LEM that was left when the astronauts took off to meet back with the command service module.  Bottom line is that people will argue with a wall sometimes and won't believe no matter how much evidence you show them.  And we are all guilty of it at different points and over different situations so I guess it's just human to be a doubter.
But I believe we landed multiple times and progressed in science a great deal for it.  If you're interested to see some of those 12 guys tell the story in their own words I recommend the documentary THE WONDER OF IT ALL.

Simple answers are generally best, especially when the questions have been answered multiple times before.

We haven't been back due to short sighted governments that have failed to provide the funding to return and continue what we started.

Simple.
The flag waves because someone moved it.  It's the only reason any flag in the vacuum of the Moon ever moved.  Simple physics:  Move it...it waves.

There is an entire thread dedicated to exploring the 'moon hoax' covering just about every facet of the CT claims. It is quite in depth and can lean heavily toward the technical side on occasion however it is the best source just about anywhere to answer any questions you might have about the topic. As a cautionary note though, it is quite lengthy and would take considerable time to go through. You can read it here if you would like to. Did we land on the moon?

Or, you could just listen to MID. He really knows what he is talking about. :tu:

"Seeker of Truth" but not a "Reader of Words", apparently... ;)

Not sure how one could miss the "Did We Land on the Moon?" thread especially when it would have been one of the top 2 or 3 titles on this Forum's thread list at the time this thread was started...

"Enquiring and doubting the "official story" are also good things .... However when these doubts require you to ignore the evidence, to dishonestly cherry pick evidence and claim it supports your case when it doesn't, when you operate a double standard; demanding proof of that which is already proven whilst making unsupported statements and personal opinions to back your own case and when you deny the truth simply because it IS the official story then you are no longer acting in a rational way. This is not the behaviour of a "different thinker", this is the behaviour of a "believer" who chooses not to rationally think about the evidence at all." - Waspie Dwarf

An experiment was conducted in a vacuum chamber with the type of flag used on the moon and in that experiment the flag was waving as it was on the moon.

Does this look like a response from someone who faked a landing?

I'm curious... apart from not bothering to search the forum first before posting, and using large fonts to try to suggest this is VERY important..

1. Did you just come up with this, out of the blue?

2. If not, why would you not explain what led to your enquiry, and where you researc er.. stumbled upon the information that elicited that post?

Would you care to do so now?  Thanks in advance...

Whenever the flag waves, notice that its being held or touched by the astronauts. The only reason the flag waves is due to the fact that its being acted upon by another force

Because NASA spent a few hundred billion to fake the moon landing and then someone decided it would be really cool and look awesome to turn on a fan to make the flag move.

As this topic offers nothing new to the Apollo Hoax debate and is essentially replicating an existing topic I see no real purpose in keeping it going.

seeker of truth54, if you wish to debate this subject please feel free to do so here: Did we land on the moon?
