Oh my.Well I get these alerts in my email,and I got it last night,so I assumed it was new news .
I think the point they also were making ,is that the Treyvon case gets daily coverage,and this did not.
And they maybe meant on air news,not newspapers on line or other wise ?
I definitely have heard nothing on local news,at all.Not a peep about it.I do not get cable channels though.
So comparatively speaking,its not as news worthy as other murders ? To the majority of our media ,anyway.

If you look at the care2 link,its dated April 2,and the headline of the article says media silence.
I certainly didn't make it up.I dare say,with care2s reach,it might be why it's suddenly on the news today.I mean it did happen march 24th.
If this had been a little kid in Oshkosh,holding a bad of skittles,it would have been on the news the very next day,and everywhere.

The local news networks aren't going to report on every single murder that happens in the country. No it's not surprising that it wouldn't be all over every news network. Sadly people get murdered every day and as Nine Moons showed there were plenty of news stories on this issue a few days after it happened.
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth a war, is much worse...A man who has nothing which he is willing to fight for, nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
