Sound like a knower to me! You don't have a skeptic bone in your body.

And a knower wouldn't need to search for anything, would they.

I have already proven that it isn't only "footers" that are hearing these sounds. If I didn't know any better (which I don't) I'd say your in denial over something.

Spoken like a true knower.

That might be the problem, you've been listening to "footers". The best evidence I've seen comes from non-footer sources. It's ok with me if your snarky about the "footers". I don't care for them much myself. Just a bunch of knowers having a back scratching party.

Nor did I think you were my enemy or attempting to be. I just don't agree with you and I know a meltdown when I see one. Don't worry, I had my meltdown last night at work.    My point is, if your a knower, and you're 100% sure of yourself, then what's the point of debate?

Feel free to keep on knowing I'm a knower.:tu:

Me and my buddy Squatch are going out to play.

Watch out, pretty soon you will be on peoples " ignore " list..... :tu:

I think people have a hard time proving any factual basis for their beliefs so they get defensive and they take any question as a direct challenge instead of just giving it some thought.

Hell, he should know. I had one conversation with him and hit the old ignore key.

Dude, people are going to believe what they will believe, true of people, Bigfoots, fairies, crossdressing gay men......oh wait. that one is real. If he thinks you're a "knower" because you're open, then it's because he's already made up his mind about them and you. He's an idiot, cross him off the list and move on. Being open means you'll simply take an unbiased look at what you see or the evidence you're presented with and make a judgement based on it. Personally, I hate people on the two extremes of any issue because their opinions are often obscured to make whatever they see fit into some ideology they hold. It's true in life, politics, religion and in here as well. If he/she wants to call you a "knower" then it's their loss not yours.

.......and if they just want to argue or make you feel uncomfortable then that's what the ignore key is for. Push the button man. Beats reading drivel.

Knock yourself out.

I have absolutely no one on my ignore list.  I've been a member here for over 5 years and have never used it.

Well, of course you haven't used it Silly. How many have you forced to use it? That's what you should worry about.

I am a skeptic Stardrive, for me to acknowledge that yes there is a definite possibility that alleged bigfoot sounds are just that--bigfoot, I can’t do that. Or, that my weird experience in the woods should be credited to some undocumented sasquatch beast-- I can’t do that either. For me, it makes no logical or scientific sense.
Alright let's try this again. Answer this. In terms of % how would you rate your stance on the possibility of Bigfoot existing? I'll go first.

I'm at 75% they do,  25% not. I would be considered a "believer".

No need to leave,....As I see kennisc likes to stir the pot, than put people on ignore when he is wrong and knows it.....

Maybe put him on ignore, and carry on with the conversation......Personally, I think the ignore feature is childish, but if that is what it takes for you to be able to have a conversation use it, or just stand up to him.....Except he will not be able to see your comments if he is ignoring you....

Actually, a silly little way to get out of a debate or discussion you are sadly losing or looking real bad on.

Anyway, don't let a few people bother you, we are all different, and have different personalities and maturity levels.....Not everyone will be the same, a few asses in any group of people.....Hell, I am one to some.

I'm at 1% they do and 99% they do not.
But you would have to define which bigfoot for a more accurate number.
Is this regarding the giant ape bigfoot, or the alien bigfoot.   Maybe the hairy man.   Hairy ape-man?  Bigfeet all over the planet or just the PNW?  Include the abominable snowman?  Are we reffering to a neanderthal tribe?   Maybe just hobos?  If we are talking Hobos, my percentages go way up.

Fair question, Stardrive,

I am at 99.99% that nonhuman hairy apelike giants "bigfoot" "sasquatch" do not live in the world.

I was told repeatedly some time ago, that science does not speak in terms of 100% impossibility. Don't ask me to explain that, I can't, but it made sense then***.

So, I've admitted more times than I can count that I would think it awesome to be proven wrong, and hold out a sliver of hope in my imagination.

I don't know who you were referring to in your post to me about putting someone on "ignore". I've never put anyone on ignore in years of forum memberships and have no plans to do so here. :)  :)  :)

***I guess it could be explained by: Scientists who freely and vocally admit Meldrum is wasting his time, YET, stop short of telling him he should stop investigating bigfoot. And that if research into bigfoot is done by 1 mainstream scientist, that is about the number of mainstream scientists it deserves.

@ Stardrive,

I'd be very interested in hearing your story. Why you are 75/25.

If you feel comfortable doing so, and understand the possible consequences , maybe you could expand on your post. Either in this thread or maybe start a new one. I am always interested in the "Why" of bigfoot belief, and I'm sure some others are too. I did start out as a believer years ago. And I am always interested in believers'
'evidence for their existence', etc.
