so reasonable suspicion falls where in regards to possible and plausible :)

I would say so in that articulate facts can be presented, but cannot be tied to the conclusions presented in hand. So we have a possible, but that which cannot be deemed plausible without further information.

Most things in our world are only as we see them or understand them to be. THe more educated and informed a sighting and witness  is the better, UFO`s in there own right fall into  "Un-Identified " section .
So right out of the gate its got to be a given that we dont know what it is !
THe day may come that E.T lands and gets out lets us tour his Star Ship, exchange nick-nacks Go for a spin, Even teach us a few trillion things to keep us safe from ourselfs.
BUt until then Keep Looking Up ,cause thats where it all Is !
Mostly :tu:
This is a Work in Progress!

Might take a look at the 1966 Westall High School incident.  I've always found this one to be among the top, though I've decidedly avoiding investigating it in depth because most other cases that I looked into enough just didn't seem to withstand scrutiny.

I guess I'm holding out hope that this might have been the real deal.

:sigh:

It is an odd one isn't it?  I find the number of witnesses and consistency in testimony quite compelling.  The nature of the incident likewise seems to defy conventional explanation.

I've not discussed the case much at all in my time here at UM, quite intentionally, because it truly is one of the most compelling I've read about and I don't want to endanger that "skeptic" image I've got going. B)  Plus I don't really want to discover that it actually has a prosaic explanation.  The last burning "believer" ember within me is this case.

Um,. sorry, i haven't looked in at this lately;  so what have we decided about regarding Rendlesham? It apparently involved Starfish, leaky coaxial cables and Woodpeckers with 40 tonne magnets?

Life is a hideous business, and from the background behind what we know of it peer daemoniacal hints of truth which make it sometimes a thousandfold more hideous.

Not quite, the dates are out of whack, but it seems an interesting and fresh angle to look at.

I like the Brazilian UFO incident where "burns" appeared on the townspeople, and the small plane where it crashed into a UFO, The Mexican air force was found dead when the Americans came.

I'd go with this, even though I dont really know much about UFOs. The cower-up seemed very sloppy, at first at least.
"Dreams are not just for dreaming, but for living them out." Onizuka Eikichi, 22, my favourite anime.
Madness is just a word that's an obscure label. A label for a wide arc of different states of mind. My madness as you might call it, has a method to it. It may seem like madness from your eyes, but from here, the more you get known to yourself, the better it feels.

No no no... that's the believer in me not wanting to subject this case to scrutiny.

Okay then i'll not explain why this is just another typical UFO case.

My best case would be the Shag Harbour crash.

During the Rendlesham Forest incident one US military guy allegedly touched one of the small craft and sketched the symbols etched on it.   He felt the heat from the craft and his testimony was supported by colleagues; why would they lie?

My own favorite story also involves the US military, when a UFO started playing around at a nuclear missle site and had everyone in strong hysteria. I have a terrible sense of humor I suppose.
That was an awful thing to do, but since nothing bad happened really I cannot help but think of it as funny.

Ah, that'll probably be , was it Malmstrom AFB, it was discussed here at some length in the 'best Evidence' thread, I believe.
