Sorry, but like werewolves, vampires are not biologically possible.

Sure, I've met a few... of course they are not undead, and have no special powers or anything...

I think we have to believe in them, after all, all the time we get posters telling us they're vampires. Look at the evidence they give, they flee the moment someone confronts them, they suck all the life out of a thread, they have no self-reflection...

I must not fear. Fear is the Mind-Killer. It is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and to move through me. And when it is gone I will turn the inner eye to see it's path.
When the fear is gone, there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

I'm going to agree also. Unless you're talking about a HUMAN subculture thing, I'm going to say they are not real.

Here at Intel we make processors on 12 inch wafers. And, the individual processors on the wafers are called die. And, I am employed to check these die. That is why I am the DieChecker.

Ah the old "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy" argument.

Not that I am in total disagreement with your position, but I think if vampires do exist you need to the original folklore, and when you do you find them to be more akin to mean ghosts than you do to any modern (read as Stoker-derived) interpretation of the vampire.

The English language has been abused enough for one day, thank you very much.

Welcome to UM. I have an interest in the Mythalocgical history, tales and lifestyle of Vampires, Wolfies and related  music, art, movies, tv shows and goth stuff.

Aka personas are important for personal discovery but It pays not to be overly passionate about your beliefs, skeptics will cut you down but it doesn't mean that your not welcome to share. Those that have an interest will be more than happy to share and learn about what you have to share.  :) Enjoy.
