such a fragile thing -
snowflake, yet when they team up
they can stop a car

but they can’t stop the fury
ploughing my way home

on the cold dark moors
one small bird, crying, flying
wings its way northward

where slow Helen slowly shot
herself in the head

her self in the head,
she tried so hard to ignore,
the tragic success

the tragic success
of believing in fairy-
tales is ironic

unmatched by fiction

unmatched by fiction
reality is truly
all that we can live

One's reality is another's nightmare.

soon we will all die
pointless life's work now all past
we all turn to dust

we all turn to dust
or to stars said poet dead
as dead are his words

(begs for clarification: Antun Branko Šimić, dead since 1925 and I get goosebumps each time I remember his eternal
Opomena

Čovječe pazi
da ne ideš malen
ispod zvijezda!

Pusti
da cijelog tebe prođe
blaga svjetlost zvijezda!

Da ni za čim ne žališ
kad se budeš zadnjim pogledima
rastajo od zvijezda!

Na svom koncu
mjesto u prah
prijeđi sav u zvijezde!

My amateur attempt to translate it:

Warning

Man, be careful
not to walk small
under the stars!

Let
the entire you is touched
by the gentle starlight!

So you regret nothing
when you will be with your last gazes
departing the stars!

In your end
instead of into dust
turn entire into the stars!)

All right, I'm done, sorry, couldn't resist.
