As wicked as you are,
You're beautiful to me
You're the darkest burning star,
You're my perfect disease.

-I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity.//

That's just the way it be
In a world of darkness
I'm digging for catharsis
I'm sipping on the arsenic
Just to say I'm a part of it
The media
The medium
The miniscule we make
The mediocre medicare on my minimum wage
I'm smiling but I'm not okay
I'm dialing, don't know what I'll say
I'm filing for asylum
But I'm whiling violins on that mountain plate
We walking up to take the stage
Got dirt and sand all in my face
If this here is my final play
Here's what you'll hear my tombstone say:

This is a dangerous time we live in
Revolutions all around
I found a dream that I was given
Down deep inside the ground
Let's, let's, let's dig it out

The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed, the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress. The hate of men will pass and dictators die and the power they took from the people, will return to the people and so long as men die liberty will never perish... Soldiers don't give yourselves to brutes, men who despise you, enslave you, who regiment your lives, tell you what to do, what to think or what to feel, who drill you, diet you, treat you like cattle, use you as cannon fodder... Don't give yourselves to these unnatural men, machine men, with machine minds and machine hearts.  You are not machines. You are not cattle. You are men. You have the love of humanity in your hearts.

Counting sheep, not for sleep
Counting them cause so many surrounding me
They walk the streets, they're watching me
Lately I look over my shoulder constantly
Walking in haze foggy days for days
So foggy I can hardly see the nuclear waste
So resorting to drastic measures propelling from roofs cement boots and tar feathers
La la lately feel sedated to
Slipping me poison, when I drink your wine and eat your food
Is it enough for you to change my mood?
How does it taste?
I think, I think I need a  s s s  second scoop
How come this whiskey make us shifty?
Black magic, addicts, lining up early just to get tipsy
My family told me be careful they know this life's to risky
I told them to pay em no mind, while we marched in the line.

Death march
Walking towards our demise
I see the cliff, they see my eyes
Say time for goodbyes on a
Walking towards our demise
I see the cliff, they see my eyes
Nose dive

The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed, the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress. The hate of men will pass and dictators die and the power they took from the people, will return to the people and so long as men die liberty will never perish... Treated this planet like my scrap book
Add a picture add a clipping scratch the last look
It's not approved delete the image from my mac books
My memory equals about a gram now that's crook
I'm so confused. It's a bitter road we travel so I'm letting go
The gathering nattling got a micro chip implanted in my abdomen
And it's about 28 long years that I've been dealing
But these days my memories don't really seem appealing
And so I find a distant memory beneath the world below
I've realized my destiny's not on the road I know
I'm feeling like a centipede. I'm reaching out for soul
And Trying to remember that sometime that I was whole
I found a distant memory, I found, I found
But desperately I'm trying to press it down, down
Nostalgia is all around us watch me drown, drown
I wish I could forget what I know now, now

The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed, the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress. The hate of men will pass and dictators die and the power they took from the people, will return to the people and so long as men die liberty will never perish... She lit a burner on the stove and offered me a pipe
"I thought you'd never say hello" she said
"You look like the silent type"
Then she opened up a book of poems
And handed it to me
Written by an Italian poet
From the thirteenth century
And every one of them words rang true
And glowed like burning coal
Pouring off of every page
Like it was written in my soul from me to you
Tangled up in blue

Not really profound or teaches us anything,  its just...it's just the imagery that dylan can conjour up in his lyrics.  At times it's like listening to a movie, or watching a song.

"Phantom Rider" -Tokio Hotel
Now I'm here
No more fears
Angel don't you cry
I'll meet youon the other side
Goodbye
Into the light
Like a Phantomrider
I'm dying tonight
So dark and cold
I drive alone like a phantomrider
Can't make it all on my own.
Hey!
Im here
With you
I am here
Leave me alone like a phantomrider
Always die on thier own

Not sure how exact those are because I listen to the German version, so I had to translate it to English. Very good song, though!

"Battles aren't supposed to be heroic affairs. They are not supposed to be fun or exciting, to us every battle is filled with despair, they are dark, horrifying, and grizzly. We should fear warfare, avoid it always and whenever possible." -Izuru Kira (Bleach)

Wow, I'm not the only one who sings the Horst Wesel Lied in the shower!

just kidding ..

n.b. in the biographical movie Will, the actor who plays G.Gordon Liddy actually does sing it in the shower.

Cause I don't wanna lose you now
I'm lookin' right at the other half of me
The vacancy that sat in my heart
Is a space that now you hold
Show me how to fight for now
And I'll tell you baby, it was easy
Comin' back here to you once I figured it out
You were right here all along

Here in the shadows
I'm safe
I'm free
I've nowhere else to go but
I cannot stay where I don't belong

Two months pass by and it's getting cold
I know I'm not lost
I'm just alone
But I won't cry
I won't give up
I can't go back now
Waking up is knowing who you really are

And I doubt that you've considered that maybe,
Just maybe those genes that you were forced in,
Although heavy, are no excuse for your lack of trust in anyone, even you.
My boyfriend used my palm, as an ashtray,
And that was on his good days
My scar looks like a bear, or a rabbit
They said, "It's just his bad habits."

He's got inside my head
He's sleeping in my head
He's got hold of my hand

I'm not even scared to come cure your past, or try to reinvent it
I can be your lover, and your mother,
And your father who never really had to take you fishing or teach compassion
You used my voice as your spokesman
You couldn't walk on your own feet
Ain't that horrid

Whiskey bottles and brand new cars
Oak tree you're in my way
There's too much coke and too much smoke
Look what's going on inside you

Ooh, that smell
Can't you smell that smell?
Ooh, that smell
The smell of death surrounds you

That Smell - Lynyrd Skynrd

The sun is high and I'm surrounded by sand
For as far as my eyes can see
I'm strapped into a rocking chair
With a blanket all over my knees

I, I am a stranger to myself
And nobody knows I'm here
When I looked into my face it wasn't myself I'd seen
But who I've tried to be

I'm thinking of things I'd hoped to forget
I'm choking to death in a sun that never sets
I clogged up my mind with perpetual greed
And turned all of my friends into enemies
And now the past has returned to haunt me

I'm scared of God and scared of hell
And I'm caving in upon myself
I'm scared of God and scared of hell
And I'm caving in upon myself

How can anyone know me when I don't even know myself?
How can anyone know me when I don't even know myself?
How can anyone know me when I don't even know myself?

Please wrap your drunken arms around me
And I'll let you call me yours tonight
'Cause slightly broken is just what I need
And if you give me what I want
Then I'll give you what you like

Please tell me I'm your one and only
Or lie, and say at least tonight
I've got a brand new cure for lonely
And if you give me what I want
Then I'll give you what you like

When you turn off the lights
I get stars in my eyes
Is this love?
Maybe someday
So don't turn on the lights
I'll give you what you like

Among such style and grace
Our highest hopes
None standing still
The running joke
Where goes the warm embrace it fades
Without return
That lives to slip through fingertips and burn
