Hi Guys, I've been keeping a low profile due to 2 parts. 1. I know 99% of you don't believe in anything I say and 2. I've been really ill having to have major surgery shortly.

Here's something you should recognise and I can guarantee I never spoke to the paper in fact I'm waiting for someone to contact me in the morning as I'm outraged they've used my picture and a quote of mine.

Thanks, I'm just so angry because this was my work, I was told it was rocks which is why I outlined the pictured and labelled it. I was made to look like a fool by the certain people here yet now someone feels it's ok to use my work, and in a major newspaper.

At least I have everything backed up on files and stuff and have years of research here to prove it's mine. I suppose I should head to bed before it's morning, Night.

Wow thats gotta suck. All the best. Plus, with that 3d rendition of Bigfoot, the heck they calling "The Daily Telegraph" the source for? That has been made and used by and for almost every bigfoot/yeti/grassman/orangpendek episode on MonsterQuest. Really oughta get this page sent over to the History Channel and get a lawsuit running :\

Biggest suck is I didn't want any of my stuff in a paper or anything. When the footage was first made I wanted to get decent proof to show the world but I changed my mind ages ago and preferred just to talk about them.

Shows how great the Telegraph is at checking their info lol, Did they see the footage, did they compare the handwriting or look at all the other stills made. Did the so 'called man' show them where he filmed the footage from and where the creature was? I doubt it because there's only 2 people who know exactly what piece of rocks the HG was on.I love to see the foot print photos too, I wonder whose they stole for that!

Also I know this came up twice by mistake, but I can only see this thread. I don't know if the other is still up or if people have replied so I'm not being rude if they have. I don't know why my computer won't show the other.

Tia, have you heard anything from the newspaper? Hope your still trucking along. I've never read your work and research, but that still doesn't change the fact that people should degrade you for doing something you love, like BrianPotter said. Even worse for someone to steal. I'm not going to judge. Just remember we've got your back, even if this is the internet.

Tia, the above version of this story (dated June 04, 2012 12:01PM) contains an interesting subheading missing from the one you quoted (dated  June 04, 2012  12:00AM): “Government archives opened under Freedom of Information”.

You did contact National Parks and Wildlife Service. It is not theft if you gave them the picture and it was then obtained via FoI. A reporter went fishing for stories and that is what he got. On the positive side: You were not misquoted and your anonymity was retained.

You were contacting officials in March this year: Rebuilding the Bigfoot Theory post #143. Not quite ages ago.

I never gave anyone the picture, yes the scientist who studied the footage recently has nothing to do with it. The picture has since been shown around but that doesn't fit in with the dates.

The date it was lodged was on March 8th 2011 in the archives the footage was taken the 26th Feb 2011. At that time it was lodged it was still being argued about what it was between about 7 or 8 inner people only. All of these people had my outlined sketch at that time only it wasn't public at all, it was via pms and emails.

Funny that I may sound stupid but the only Government Archives I know about or I should say assumed about would only have contained all Government records, I didn't even know this sort of thing existed so call me ignorant. Obviously one of the people that wanted me discredited did though because they lodged it so that's something I'll try to track down though it says it was lodged by a male but I doubt they even asked for ID just money or something. Funny that, see they were trying to get me out from the start and yet one of them thought this was something they could use later down the track so put it somewhere like that.

Also the only time I contacted the National Parks was when I heard they were going to be doing some work in the bush so I rang them to find out where abouts etc as I was concerned about the danger to a lone guy if they ran into my big guy. When the guy started wanting where I lived etc I hung up, sorry HGs over a human any day ( also I thought if they stayed on track they may have got some threats but nothing major during the day). They didn't come around this way anyway (I think they were just checking out areas for hazard reduction or something). I hardly think national parks would lodge that as a male. It was a phone call only from what I'm sure they laughed about later "a loony woman".

Interesting fact the day this story was released a thread started somewhere by someone who just loves me to bits (I'm sure you can guess NW) it was promoting a trailer for guess what?????? Not hard to work out.....4 young people go into the Australian bush, wood knocks etc and none return.   Does it remind you of last year how they wanted an actor for a film like this?

I've been told that I've also been ripped to shreds with real nasty comments blaming me for this release bringing down people like them   I think to look in their own back yard for the culprit because if they can smell the **** it must be coming from close to home. These people are just too stupid to realize it.

Also thank you everyone with your thoughts on my surgery, less then 2 weeks now. I had minor surgery a couple of weeks ago to rule out cancer because it'd be a whole different surgery and treatment if that was the case. Thank God, no cancer but still until they go in they won't know how big the surgery will be so I'll be out of action for a while. Best of luck everyone here though.

I know we don't agree on things but as you all know I want to protect what I believe in and most definitely would never have gone to the paper.

Hey Tia – I don’t quite follow the cloak-&-dagger/conspiracy parts of your reply but please keep us informed of how the paper responds to your complaint.

Does that mean that you now don't consider the picture below to that of a Yowie?

NW, all the paper has was what they showed. It was them that told me the 8th of March 2011 was when it was put in the Government archives.

What I was alluding too but will not mention their names, you know a certain person has had it in for me from the start of our connection. When the footage was first shown to a small group everyone was so excited that we had the start of something, Then all of a sudden it changed to just rocks which is why the outline was made in the first place.

Like I said call me ignorant but I didn't even know you could lodge personal things with the government but coming from the papers mouth a man did on the above date. A date in which we were still going over just what it was, but someone must of felt it would be useful along the track to have it lodged straight away.

The paper didn't care when I told them they had incorrect information as they tried to hassle me to give them more and actually seemed angry when I refused. A true source to them is nothing over a weird story that might sell some newspapers.

Tim the Yowie Man, how could he contact me just like my neighbour pointed out (as I was at her place when I made the call to the paper as she'd also seen the paper and knew the truth), they haven't got my name as a source or anything because it wasn't me! If it was they would have contacted me when first getting the story together.

Do I still believe in yowies? Edited as you asked about the picture but I'm happy to promote the same for both.

NW in your heart I'm sure you know my answer but I'm happy to put it to rest on here and say "people don't waste your time looking there is NO such thing as a yowie". " It's all a fallacy brought about by a mixture of mistaken identy or greed by those who have used this myth to get their mugs on tvs or in papers."

Honestly leave the bush and the people who live there alone as there's nothing you'd want to find in there anyway.

See more then happy to give you the answer you want and the one I want to promote NO they do exist!

If you are referring to Harrison then you are incorrect - he did not "have it in for you" from the start - you were made a Moderator on his Forum for several years and you subsequently claimed to have learned much in the process. Your association with him only broke down recently after the kerfuffle you caused with this FLIR Yowie claim. Here’s what experienced Yowie Researcher and Blue Mountains local Neil Frost had to say about it:

As you are all very well aware, the still grab was from a thermal video captured by a FLIR at the request of a former member. It shows a possum in a tree (although it is now unrecognizable because of the creative artwork), which together with others, was resting in a nearby tree after being amply fed by the residents from their verandah. He was actually there that night, right? So, how close to people’s houses was this footage taken? There was no actual Yowie sighting to go with the FLIR footage, right? Just a shape that was later attributed to the Yowie, right? Others re-evaluated their opinion - correctly - are you still unwilling/unable to do so?

It wasn't Dean, I admit we used to be friends, think about it. As for Neil's comment well no he came and did a bush walk but he never stayed the night he left when it got dark. Now you're defending him to say he's an experienced researcher? you wouldn't claim that about anyone before.  Plus there's actually around 80,000+ or - residents up here, he's not the only person to live in the mountains and spend time in the bush that doesn't make him special. I know people who go and meditate in quiet areas of bush every day.

The video was shot by someone using the camera for the first time and from the point of where to where the object was would be 60 metres at least. A possum can't be picked up that far. I also went to the Professor YOU asked me too and it came back unknown still , no known animal or leaves etc so are you suddenly going to go against a scientist to believe Neil because it works against me?  Yes they did make test films and that was of possums a couple of metres away and they still were not a match in size to the footage. This is the first time I've heard the possum quote before it was always rocks.......why are you so much in favour of these people all of a sudden?

I admit I'm computer dumb so wouldn't know how to find people via a computer, anyway they won't hear anything of interest from me. I'm just a mum, worker and soon to be student again....pretty boring.

How am I protecting my beliefs when I freely admit there is NO such thing as a yowie? haven't you been waiting to hear this for soooooooooooo long? I'll even go on your website if you want and you can quote me. Once again there is NO such thing as a yowie.

Dishonesty, is there really anyone alive that is honest the whole time? I am a Christian and will still do as I said above as I feel no dishonesty in making that statement.
