.You just recently noted you felt NO physical sensations or physical reactions yet an entity  should give off physical reactions  as it is a physical existence ..  I do not see how either differ...  

All you seem to have felt was its very presence  ..Which now points to a mere spirit.. Maybe not a nice one but still  that is all I can think of..  I could say it is all in your mind.. but I thought to give it a chance and  at least try and see if I can place anything with it ..

What Is A Spirit Entity?
The basic definition of a entity of spirit is a non-physical energy parasite with some consciousness of its own which attaches to your subtle energy body just as physical parasites do (intestinal worms etc). The level of consciousness held by these beings varies with the individual as does their effect on the human (or animal) host and so the signs of spirit entity attachment are many and varied, ranging from physical aches and pains to paranoid delusion and complete spirit possession.

Where Do Spirit Entities Come From?
The origins of spirits and ghosts vary depending upon our belief system. For example, if we look at the beliefs of both the ancient Chinese and the ancient Indians, the consciousness is shattered at the time of death and this facilitates some of our energetic bodies ascend to the Spiritual realms, whilst others reincarnate into new physical vehicles.

Sometimes, particularly in cases whereby death has been violent, the spirit is traumatized and disoriented and can miss it's "window" opening in which it can be drawn to "the light" and as such becomes trapped in the astral layer, leaving it unable to return to the Source without assistance, though they are often unaware of their trapped state and continue searching for the light which will take them to the other realms and people with a clear, bright light, (often those involved in Spiritual work or those with high abilities) commonly encounter spirit entities who have mistakenly been drawn to their light and at times become trapped in the magnetic aura or the live host before they are aware of their mistake.

Others commonly preyed upon are those suffering with addictions of any type or obsessive compulsive behaviors. These people will be sought out by spirits and entities that had similar weaknesses in their physical lives so that they may continue their addiction "by proxy". Entities are similar to physical people in that they will tend to seek out others of like mind or interest to spend their time with and this can lead to difficulties for the unsuspecting individual.

Spirit beings can attach to both human beings and animals and at times they are not fussy as to which of these they attach to! Cases have been documented of both human hosts housing animal entities and vice versa!

The above explains that it depends on your belief system.. So if your belief system leans more on evil spirit / demons.. then you might think that is it ....  ( key word might )

There is a way to describe it...Like a RIFT in the space time continuum <-- If that makes sense? That could have been  some negative / evil being who existed  long before you and the rift allowed you to feel it near you..

People  tend to fix evil presence with something from hell..but that may not be the case... It could be an evil human who once died and not yet crossed over....Energy you feel is from their past, hence why they will not see you ...<-- I mean this in general.. not exactly at your experience.. you never suggested  from hell.. I am pointing out how so many have

I have been looking at how other cultures view time and unlike the western world many dont see it as linear.

The problem is if it isnt linear a ghost maybe a person living a real life.

Good questions. From 1974 onwards I have never touched alcohol, let alone any other form of drug.

Second. No, i do not have hallucinatons. I did once, while under heavy morphine based painkillers  after a heart operation Hallucinations are of a differnt quality and nature altogether to physical objects in the world. I do however see some strange real things. How do i know his was not an hallucination from within my mind ? Simple. The light source is what had frightened our four dogs. They were in their yard staring up at it, and barking like crazy.   (Like baying at the moon) This "object" was   about 6 moons wide and 10 or more moons high, compared with the size of the moon.

Once it disappeared they stopped barking  They could not have seen, or sensed, or reacted to, an event which occured within my mind. They saw this object, just as I did .  I am not sure that anything one observes alone is 100 % guaranteeable, but this was as real as any natural phenomena, or the satellites which crossed our sky every night, just much much bigger and brighter. A few years later my wife saw a glowing/ pulsating, green rectangle about a quarter the size of this door, in the same quadrant of the sky, SHe said it looked just like a television set's phosphorescent glow, moving steadily, low across the horizon before it disappeared below the horizon. It lasted for about 5 minutes, however, and was observed simultaneously by a couple 25 kilometres from us who wrote to the local newspaper about it. Being 25 ks further away from it they could only describe it as a glowing green light on  low to the horizon, but my wife could see it pulsating as well as glowing. It was much brighter and larger from our position and about the equivalent of 3 moons wide and  2 high or a little larger.  WHen she first saw it we had just arrived home from local town 25 ks away and i had gone inside  to drop off some shopping and go to the loo ) It was about 3 handspans above the horizon. (in open farm land) and coming "down" at a slight angle. Within five minutes it had disappeared below the horizon. She was yelling out to me, but i was preoccupied
