I knew something incredible was coming by the suspenseful music.  An artefact from a crashed alien craft!  Was it from the Roswell crash or was it Aurora?

The stuff that dreams are made of.

Bob Jacobs, "Big Sur UFO"?  Kingston George provides a compelling rebuttal to that story.  Unfortunately, the video of the Atlas launch and it's aftermath is currently no where to be found...the video would go a long way in clearing up the matter.

I never saw the actual film, and in that lecture I mentioned the guy only had slides of the UFO paralleling the missile and firing something at its nose, causing it to go out of control.  As I recall, the name Bob Jacobs was not even mentioned, but it sounded very much like the incident he described.

Once again, though, the lecturer only had these black and white slides that were taken from the film, with frames that showed the UFO most clearly as it flew alongside the missile.  He did not claim to know what this UFO really was or where it came from, only that it flew it, knocked the missile down, then flew away again.  My impression is that they just didn't know what it was, but that the incident was very disturbing.

That's why I don't think Jacobs was lying about what he saw on that film, although I have no idea where the actual film might be now.

Chasing UFO's.  What more do you want?  A Police officer, pilot and numerous local people giving testimonies as well as the famous Ricky Sorrel encounter?  Also the team actually film one themselves?  Sometimes I think you guys actually want an alien to stare you in the face before you are convinced!  These are brilliant testimonies. Can't wait to watch episode 2.

No one seems, i notice, interested in the helicopter incident. Has it just been forgotten, or if it was a Rational explanation, what was it?
No 747400 ,we all saw it Its old and the facts are its a sighting as many are unidentified ! It does have good collaboration from multi-wittness! BUt its like so many unproven. Cheers !

But one added note THe Stephenville event in 2008 was by far a really Good example of multi sighting  from different view points, with good backing ,and even the cover-up hints. Try to figure out how so many people on that night would describe the same thing,And It was Big enough to see some have it at a mile long,,most over a thousand feet long, but all say it was totally silent !
The FAA tracked it. THere were Fighter jets in the Air ect. So Go finger?

Nice post Donteatus.

I understand you live in Texas?  That state certainly does appear to be a hotspot not just at this present time but for a few decades now.  The cattle mutilation phenomena seems prevalent there too.

Take a look at this; a recent case from Colarado.  Do you know of any farmers who have experience of this?

Clicked on the link but haven't got time to read it H.

Just watched Linda Moultan Howe's 1980 documentary on cattle mutilation.  It's on youtube.  Have you seen it?  Excellent documentary and I wondered if it is still going on today.  Guess what?

Indeed Hazz. From your link:

Quote

Research in eyewitness testimony is mostly considered a subfield within legal psychology, however it is a field with very broad implications. Human reports are normally based on visual perception, which is generally held to be very reliable (if not irrefutable). Research in cognitive psychology, in social psychology, as well as in the philosophy of science and in other fields seems, however, to indicate that the reliability of visual reports are often much overrated. Ainsworth[who?] obtains a wealth of research surrounding these features.

I would guess that it is pretty much what every police officer will tell you after obtaining witness testimonies to a crime. It has been seen over and over again how they point in all directions.

Im taking a stab at this,  Boon and please correct me if Im wrong,... but to most of us, the name Linda Moultan Howe is a RED FLAG.

Kinda like that clown (and UFO hall of shame) Jaime Maussan.

Sorry Boo but I really admire her; she brings issues to light and has done an excellent job in her field.  If people are uncomfortable with her work it's probably because of their medieval belief's and shear narrow mindedness. Good luck to her for standing up for what she believes in.

As heartwarming as that is...  I still think she's one of the worst blots on the face of UFOlogy, and there are a lot of blots so that is quite an accomplishment.
