Could be the wreckage of a German project from the last war.

Or it could be just weird geology or silt deposits.

You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into.

The Russians don't even know where some of their nuclear materials went when the Soviet Union crumbled, but they know what happened to every one of their circular ship hulls. Yea, right !

Well, i know the russians love their vodka and all that, but i don't think it would be that hard for them to keep track of two ships. They thought it would give them an advantage, but when put into actual use the two ships were terrible. Actually, the main guns on it would cause enough force to actually make the ship spin in a circle if they did not use the single rudder to try and counteract some of it. So, after decomissioned in 1903 to become storage ships, almost 10 years later in 1912 they were both scrapped. Hope this clears up any misconceptions you have about the russians keeping track of their ships and helps clear up the idea it is the Novgorod at the bottom of the baltic sea.

When were the divers supposed to go down and check.... I mean, how long until we can know what it really is?

Just saying it's "amazing" tells us nothing about what the thing actually is. I hate this type of approach...wish they'd just spill as to what it is.

I dont see how this can keep dragging on for much longer with so much media paying attention to this story.  But the fact that nothing has been leaked so far that i dont expect anything more then a unusual rock formation

It seems reasonable that they have continued to dive, and otherwise investigate the object since their last log entry on Thursday, the 6th. They said at that time that there would he photographs and more information provided 'next week'. Well, technically, next week arrived today, but they probably meant  between Monday and Friday. Its not unusual for an important announcement to be made on a Monday morning, in hopes of getting the attention of the media before other distractions intrude later in the day, and the week. The delay could be less calculating than that. If they found something  not immediately explainable, but were, as they said 'really amazed' by what little they could see, further work could have been essential.

It won't be, since it's not flying.

Well, it is starting to really draw out now, and all the hype is suspicious. 6 days to look, and no report yet? Each day just seems like they are stretching this out as much as is possible. With things like this occurring naturally

It is a little early to write natural formation of just yet.

Good God, did someone really say Atlantis? Surely I read that in jest.
